You didn't think I would read this post, did you?!?!?!

Yes, I admit, I love me some cheap stuff, but hopefully my reputation is a little bit better than this guy!

If all the cards are in penny sleeves, then there is not 5000 cards in the box..
I think its more like 3500 cards but if you sell singles of these guys, then you may make out very well..

I have done several deals with him from 2006 to a few months back, maybe 15+ transactions and never had a problem.
how much did he charge for shipping? i just won 7 single card auctions of his.$29 to ship 7 cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
guess i give ebay a call on excessive shipping charges!

This guy has added cards to the auction desciption but from what I see never says the cards are actually included in the auction. He has done this before in his previous lots saying cards like "xxxxx" are in it and they all turn out to be 1999 Topps base. I'm a little torn about this auction since for $25 is it worth the chance to hopefully cross off at least a couple cards off the wantlist. There would only need to be 6-10 cards in which I don't have in order to make it worth while. But knowing the seller is absolute scum and a liar it is hard to even risk the $25 because it obviously wouldn't be worth shipping it back. Hmmmm

I have player lots those sizes that I am looking to move soon but those prices are pretty low considering autos and nice inserts etc. Either people know this guy is full of **** or dont trust him

I have several hundred player lots up right now too, it's bad timing that he's listing his like this because I think they'll drive down the price of my auctions. dagabs (angels75 on some of the boards) definitely has had misleading auctions in the past, so I would have some concerns too.

But I would imagine that even if you get 3500 Chavez cards (it's a 5000 lot box right? So let's assume with penny savers and loosely packed it comes to 3500 cards), as a Chavez player collector I'm sure they're worth at least what, 5 cents a card shipped to you no matter what they end up being? So that would be $175. $25 seems like a good risk to me.

He'll probably say something like this once the disputes start hitting his account:

"I said the cards were in 5000 count boxes, not 5000 total cards in those said boxes"

or

"5000 count box of Thomas with 4975 1988 Topps commons as well as 25 Thomas cards"

If this guy is willing to list $1.00 to $3.00 cards individually (his other listings), I highly doubt he'd be giving anything of real value in these lots, just asking for problems. But if he was and someone believed him, this would be the opportunity to score a great deal, b/c those lots won't sell for crap. Will scare off most ebay bidders (in my opinioin)
