I'm a top-rated seller on eBay with almost 1,000 positive feedback and 0 negative. On all of my auctions It clearly states I don't offer partial refunds but if you would like to return the item I will give you a full refund.
I recently sold a few complete sets of 2010 Bowman to a buyer. The buyer received them and sent me a message today saying that there are 15 cards missing. Now I'm human and I could have made the mistake, but the seller asked for me to send him the cards and if I even wanted he would exchange them for other cards. I would have no problem with that except I just don't have extra 2010 Bowman Sets laying around my house and I don't have the cards to give to him.
I really would like to avoid negative feedback so what do you think of the situation? Should I say to him that the only option is to return the whole thing for a full refund? Or should I make the exception and believe that what he said is right and give a partial refund for the cards? Any thoughts?
Anything would be really appreciated
