Sold two items on ebay. One was for $20 the other for $200. I was leaving on vacation and in a hurry. Printed out a label and put both in the mail. One guy ($200) paid right away the $20 guy didn't pay.
Sure enough in my haste to go on vacation (xmas) I mixed up the two packages.
The guy who ordered the $20 card received the $200 and vice versa.
The guy who ordered the $200 and received the $20 was totally cool about it and sent the cards back to me.
The guy who bought the $20 cards and recieved the $200 paid immediately after the tracking number on the package said it arrived.
I emailed the guy who got the more expensive package, was very nice and thanked him for his professionalism and to send them back on my expense. Sent 3 emails in 3 weeks. No reply.
I was cool about the whole thing, the guy who ordered the $200 I made happy and the whole thing was my fault.
Fast forward to monday of this week:
I receive and email from Paypal saying they have frozen my account until I resolve a dispute. It appears getting the $200 cards in place of the $20 cards the buyer got was not good enough. He said he NEVER received anything.
Talk about greed. I sent a long and detailed email to paypal (when he paid after the package was received, my emails sent, no emails returned, etc). Now I have to wait until PayPal reviews the dispute and gives me my funds back.
Amazing some people's nerve. Anyone want to know who the buyer's ebay name is!??!
