What a way to start a Monday. I have an impeccable ebay rating of 99.9% and I always seem to get NEGATIVE feedback from those new to Ebay. Today received 2 negative feedbacks for purchases the buyer made that show as delivered on July 18th to them. This is ridiculous and no recourse whatsoever. Any ideas?

That doesn't prevent a negative and the OP said it "shows delivered on July 18th" so I'm going out on a limb and guessing it had it.
Both auctions had delivery confirmation, it shows delivered to the buyer. They can still leave negative even after a perfect transaction. Went from 99.9% to 99.7 now.

Have you contacted eBag about this. I think they will remove those Neg's if you can show you did your part.

Based on my experience, they won't. "if the buyer is unhappy with the transaction, it's their right to leave negative feedback and we cannot remove any feedback unless it has swearing or spam in it"
ower
Yadda yadda yadda.

My advice: stop fretting over 0.2% - I used to do the same. It will only go back up if you continue to do the right thing and hardly anyone pays attention to a rating unless it's lower than 99.0% and you would need a lot of negatives in a short period of time to get that low.

Unless a seller's feedback is less than, say, 95%, feedback is overrated because buyers have protection through PayPal.

Feedback on eBay is overrated... maybe I'm alone on this but I don't know the last time I went to someones feedback before bidding on an idea to do my research on the seller lol...

Anyways, to the OP, contact eBay... I'm sure you can talk your way out of the negative.

Could be someone that has a beef against you and just bought the item JUST to leave you negative feedback

Looking at the buyer's history and the other negative comment left, this is your typical case of an idiot newbie buyer. We've all been there. It may suck, but there's nothing you can do. Block and move on.

Do you use eBay ship tracking? If so, try contacting the buyer and see if he's wrong about the card. Also, see if you can convince eBay that the guy is lying in his feedback, since you can clearly prove him wrong. EBay shouldn't (<- I know, magic word) allow people to lie in the feedback.

And how are you sure he is lying? We are talking about the USPS after all. For all we know it was stolen from his mailbox or placed in another box. Therefore he would not be lying, and the feedback would be relevant and not removed. Do I think it should be removed? Yes. Will it? Not a chance, I have seen ones where the people where caught lying (They where selling the lost card) and the feedback stood.

Disagree. Feedback is statement about the seller. If the seller did all he could to complete a transaction and the package was stolen, the feedback is not relevant IMO.
