Re: LeBron James- Executive thinks James to bulls is a done deal

I think he'll go to the Bulls, but I'd love to see him go to the Mavs.

Have they dumped Michael Beasley yet? Last I heard if they got rid of his contract they can afford 3 max contracts.

I think he goes with the Nets. He can play for his boy Jay Z, be in the same city with his boy Sabathia, and if they pull off a sign and trade with the Cavs, that will give them cap room to add Bosh or Nowitski.

Well wherever Lebron goes you can be sure that a instant bandwagon will be created with probably a few posters here jumping on. Should be interesting how this all ends with whatever team he goes to becoming instant contenders.

When you talk about the bandwagon, do you mean the team or Lebron bandwagon?

No chance of this happening. Even with a restructured contract setup to have them, Miami is Wade's team and Lebron would be part of Wade's team and I dont see Lebron going for that. He's going to be the centerpiece of the team he goes to, so I still hold to him going to the Bulls and Bosh joining him there.

Bosh has come out and said he wants to be the centerpiece of a team and has said he won't wait on other people to make his decision. Seems to me like Bosh would have a bigger issue playing behind Lebron than Lebron would playing with Wade.

I honestly doubt this. I really think it is just posturing on Bosh's part, as he has never displayed alpha dog characteristics when he was with Toronto.

I do believe he signs before LeBron though. I could see the Bulls inking him before anyone else has a chance to finish a conversation with any other free agent.

Has Bosh come out and said no about going home to Houston? Didn't they free up cap space with the McGrady deal? Seems like he'd be the star there and would play with Brooks, Martin, and Yao. Could be a pretty good team.

IF he goes back to Texas, he would go to Dallas before he would go to Houston (he was born in Dallas and played at Lincoln High, leading them to the 4A title as a senior) and Mark Cuban attempted to trade for him at the trade deadline during the season. If Toronto was interested in a deal of Brendan Haywood's expiring contract, Caron Butler and a future pick or two, I could see him playing there.

I think the McGrady deal was just to get under the luxury tax. They need to focus on resigning Luis Scola and contemplating giving Brooks an extension, I believe, before they make any big FA noise (though I heard a rumor they may go after Rudy Gay if no one gets serious about him).

I meant whatever team signs him will have an instant bandwagon following. Kinda like how the Bulls had a huge bandwagon following with Jordan but when he retired/left the team about 90% of the "fan" base left too. I understand some are Jordan fans but if you are a true fan you won't waiver, even in the lean years.

I remember that all too well.

My favorite bandwagoners are the ones who jump on a different bandwagon in every sport.

I know a guy who, no joke, is from DC originally and is a Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys, Duke fan. Now, seriously, without being from any of those places, how do you just "stumble" into their fan base?

Re: LeBron James- Executive thinks James to bulls is a done deal

Lebron saids he wants to win Championships! If this is true then is between Bulls /Heat/Cleveland.

I do think he stays in Cleveland now with Scott being the coach and just can't see him leaving 30 million on the table. They do need to unload Williams and try and get a center.

Heat is interesting, him and Wade are great players, but they wouldn't play together well in my opinion.

The Bulls would be hard to turn down with Rose/Noah/Lebron/Bosh that is a instant contender.

If Lebron goes to the Nets/Knicks,i will lose all respect for him ,beacause he stated he wanted a championship.Knicks/Nets are more then Lebron and another star from being contenders.

Don't count them out yet...

Chad Ford: Rockets pitch to Bosh: Bosh w/Rockets = 60 win team... Rockets could offer Raps Aaron Brooks, Jordan Hill & expiring contracts of J Jeffries & Anderson in a sign & trade... Rockets also have right to swap picks w/Knicks in 2011 and own a protected Knicks pick in 2012. They have a ton of assets.
