where will he be when he has his press conference through espn tomorrow?

if it is going to be held in cleveland, i could see that but man, if he chooses another team while in cleveland....woo boy~ lol!

thing is, the cavs do not have that supposting players for lebron.....i read an article where KG told him to leave because look at what happened to him when he decided to stay in minn? of course, a little different case in the fact that the cavs are good enough to make the playoffs but to win it all, lebron needs better players if he decides to stay with the cavs

it's like this...he wants to win and forget the ego? miami
he wants to go to a team with a great supporting cast? bulls
he wants that all or nothing, fame/glory? knicks
money? nyets

again, these speculations are fun and all but come tomorrow, it will be interesting!

ESPN is reporting that it's down to 2 teams. Cleveland or Miami. It's pretty simple now. If he wants money he stays in Cleveland. If he can somehow check his ego he'll go to Miami. I've already said this but I don't think he can be the centerpiece of a championship team. He need's someone like a Wade or a true leader to win a ring. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Did anyone hear TMZ reporting it is the Knicks? I know it's TMZ, but after the Tiger thing, I noticed they have a pretty good record w/ rumors!

This story does have a tabloid feel to it. I thought the NBA was filled with Prima Donnas before this episode, but this prime time special is a whole other ballgame. I heard someone on the radio comment that he should present the winning team with a red rose ala The Bachelor.

As intrigued as I am, I agree. It starts with the prima-donna high schoolers, now, setting up press conferences to announce which college they will attend!! Mind blowing!!

I have lost all respect for LBJ after all of this.
I thought he was better than this but he is just a media attention ***** like all the others.
Crap like this is what has ruined the NBA.

lol yes the nba is ruined, thats why it has more news coverage in the OFFSEASON than baseball does during season, and yes no respect to a guy who gives all money from this hour special to the boys and girls club (what an A hole)

Was just about to post the same thing. From Yahoo! http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_d ... nba,254632

Looks like he actually want's to win rings.

It's really a lose lose situation for him. If he stays in Cleveland then it's all about the money. If you goes to New York it's about the fame. If you goes to Miami he's taking the easy way out by signing with two superstars. Either way, people will find a reason to hate.

It's funny because I personally always questioned why superstars didn't agree to take less money to play together and win rings. Now that it looks like that's finally happening, people are going to find something else to call him out on.

The only reason it gets all this coverage is because of the names involved, any other year you don't hear crap about the NBA, it is the thugs and prima donnas like this that have ruined the NBA. You have guys pulling guns on each other, playing streetball with no defense, and jumping in the stands to fight fans, Lebron was the one I thought would be able to change the image of the NBA. As for the charity, give me a break, he is using this as a way to justify the ego and hold a one hour special to announce where he is going. With that being said, I think he goes to the Nets.

first off the nets? really man?
and explain to me how was a gun being pulled (gilbert arenas) and one incident of going into the stands (artest who is mentally ill) makes a league as a whole "thugs" what are you basing this on, i would love to hear your explanation? I guess never getting in trouble, playing the game of basketball, giving millions of dollars to charity and rasing a family makes someone a thug.... especially considering burress, vick and WAY WAY more football players get in trouble than nba players and thats a fact

FYI, game 7 of the NBA finals was the highest rated Finals game since 1998. People can talk about street ball and how it ruined the NBA, but it was quite the opposite. It was the years between Jordan and this era where the Pistons or Spurs were in the finals every year. People bitch and moan about flashiness, lack of fundamentals, or street ball, but when they got the opportunity to watch it they declined because it was boring. If you want a slow paced game with fundamentals and everyone's ego in check, watch the MLB or golf. If you like speed, action, and superior athletes that have the ego to go along with it, the NFL or NBA are more up your alley.

If I ever really liked a sport, I wouldn't let the "attitude" or "ego" of a few players ruin it for me. I watch the game, not the personalities.
