To be honest, I think I would have preferred that UD did that on the 08 Ultimate Jumbo Jersey autos...I've stayed away from those because the autos are so light and crappy looking for the most part.

At least the U.C. swatches could fit the AUs, this had no chance to fit an AU, but yeah topps letterman autos were worse, but this is right up there.

they have been doing that with Ice for awhile..the card is glass with the swatch enclosed in the glass then the auto right on the glass surface...nothing new to hockey collectors

the swatch is actually in between the front and the back of the card (which is acetate) and then the sticker is on the card and not touching the swatch.

last year these were signed on card which I liked better but these are not that bad.

These are hard signed not stickers. As someone else said the jersey is in the middle of the card covered by acetate then signed.

alright in that case its just like the basketball and its quite honestly the best idea and looking cards i have seen in awhile.
