I signed up a while ago to pick Perk stuff up. I am content with what I have so that collection is on the back burner for now, but I checked out other things and they have a LOT of stuff I need, for MUCH cheaper than eBay.

How do I purchase store credit? Do I have to use a credit card, or can I use paypal? I know you can send money orders and checks in, but other than that, I have no clue.

How are the shipping rates? Are they decent or really high?

If you are using the "Make an offer" feature you have to have money preloaded in your account, but if you are paying full price you can just add all the items to your cart and when you check out you pay the exact amount you owe (including shipping) with your paypal account.

I think their shipping costs are a little pricy if you are only buying a couple of cards, but they are pretty good if you are a buying alot of stuff in one shipment.

hold your stuff, and then ship in bulk.

I noticed that they can toploader them for .20. Is it worth it?

Don't bother getting toploaders. I always ship bulk, and the packaging is great. They put two cards in toploaders, then sandwich 40 or so in between them and seal them in a team bag. I've never had so much as one out of place card in any shipment, except for a Pacific Ornaments Scott Rolen that was in my last shipment, corner was dinged up due to the bizarre shape not fitting into the box.

Sorry to intrude TB... But I have a few questions

So I am assuming COMC has all the cards that are on the website for customers to buy, then when you want them shipped, you pay $9 for 51 cards. Or is this shipping price only for a limited time, and if so what is the "usual" shipping charge? So essentially you can just buy cards then hold them for however long you want. Also, can you make trades with other COMC members? Sorry for so many questions... :P

Typical bulk shipping (no sleeves) is $5 for the first 10 cards and 15 cents per card. Now they are charging 10 cents each.

I think I am going to send some stuff to sell. Haven't decided yet.

There's no way to message anyone on COMC, so trading doesn't work unless you can contact the seller another way and work something out. I've kicked around the idea of trying to arrange something like that with some of the COMC users here, where we each buy cards from each other for the same amount, ending up like a trade. Maybe if there were an official COMC users thread, with a list of of who here is a seller, maybe a more effective way for users to market their stores and connect with other users here without running the risk of offending people with spam.

Did you hit up that seller that was selling all the pacific stuff?

I bought around 300 Pacific cards from him over the last few days. The 80% off was great, the 80% off PLUS an extra 25% off on all offers was even better. The only thing that stopped me from buying more was running through all my store credit there, and wiping out my Paypal.

Yeah I bought about 200 off of him to flip in my store. It was the first time I had deposited money into my account since my initial $10 back in July of last year :)

So I have spent $60 + $78 voucher on that site. Not bad for the inventory I have PLUS 151 cards for my PC just waiting to be shipped (didn't have the money to ship them this time).

I hope you're not the one who bought all the Glauses and Rolens and Heltons that kept disappearing! I did a lot of my buying right around now, 2 AM where I am, so there shouldn't have been too much competition. But every now and then I'd go to add something to my cart and it would vanish before I could buy it. I guess anyone else who's searching for my PC guys at 2 AM is just as entitled to them as I am!

Up until now I've been going off of sales on the original 200 cards I sent in back in January (had to add some store credit to get some of those Pacifics). I've sold 83 cards and used that money to buy 953 cards for my PC. If anyone has any doubts about COMC, that should put their minds at ease. For a reasonable outlay, turning 1 card you don't want into, on average, 11 you want; wish I had taken advantage of the $78 voucher to send more in (got about 6000 cards to ship them) but it's just more fun to use store credit to buy more cards.
