When did tntnorthnj start selling graded cards?[/quote]

Maybe it was acquired as a trade.

Im sure it was. I know the seller personally and figured it was the case. It threw me off guard initially too though.

LOL I said the same thing!

"TNT is one of the best sellers I have ever encountered."

In my book you have just one word wrong.

"TNT is one of the worst sellers I have ever encountered."

Just my opinion based on past dealings with him.

He is notorious for selling multiple copies of a certain card and recycling the image. I found this out the hard way (2x) when I received cards that were grossly off-centered and the card in the image appeared nearly perfectly centered. After trying to contact the seller and receiving no response, I left appropriate feedback for him. I am now blocked by the seller. I guess the $1,000+ I have spent with him over the recent past didn't warrant a reply to my concerns. :(

10 posts and not one mentions anything about it being a good buy or bad buy. I guess it was just ok?

Seems pretty ridiculous to me, I would've definitely jumped on it.

As an aside, it's really depressing how much BGS has dumbed down their standards. A BGS 10 used to automatically net $100+ just because of the scarcity.; a 92 Donruss Chico Walker BGS 10 probably would've gotten $50 back in the day. Depressing...

Agreed. I buy from him every time a new product is released.

I think it's more that the card stock is getting better. Take a look at 1992 Donruss and compare it with a 2007 Bowman Chrome card. It's not even close how different the quality of the card stock is.

I have never had an issue with him until recently. He had a card i wanted and i forgot to bid. Well it ended without any bids and i contacted asking if he was going to relist it because i forgot to bid. Well i got a really smartass reply about bidding and the card is no longer available or something. I dont remember exactly what he said but it pissed me off enough that ill never buy from him again.

I have to defend TNT a little here. Asking about one card from his huge inventory, maybe he didn't have time or inclination to check on it, which could be perfectly valid depending on what it was, or maybe he did, in fact sell it. Plus, he sells stuff on consignment, which may have been what this was. But if it's in his regular inventory, it'll get relisted within a week or two when he renews the listing.

FWIW, I've ordered from him probably 15-20 times over the years, every few months, once a bunch of new sets have come out, to pick up base cards of Sizemore and Thomas and set-fills. There have been a couple times when there was a problem with my order, one card missing or the wrong card included or something. An email explaining the problem usually results with a reply like,"I'll fix it for you on your next order, just remind me." While that isn't the best possible service, in the course of a long series of orders, it works out. I've never taken anything he wrote as rude or had any major issues.

I won't buy from him again...bought an Ellsbury chrome RC a couple years back and after removing it from the case, I noticed a crease on one side (was hard to see inside the top-loader let alone the eBay scan). Because I opened his "tamper proof" sticker, he wouldn't refund my payment...so I had to file a chargeback...

Yea, the tamper proof sticker is the dumbest thing. How do you inspect the cards if you get a couple in the toploader as he usually does. Also, every now and then I get one that the card(s) have slid into the sticker and get the glue on the card.

That's weird, I had the same situation with the opposite result. I forgot to bid on one of the many (5) Black "1/1" plates from Moments & Milestones. I sent him an email, and he said just send the money to his paypal. I thought that was pretty cool, he just gave it to me for the minimum price. I was a little worried I wouldn't ever receive the card because he sells so many cards, but he came through like a champ.

I think I have purchased about 200 cards from him over the past 7 years... never ever a single problem. Guess I'm just lucky. ;)
