The veterans looked right. Rookies I'm not sure what they did - though I was checking some of the rookies I saw with funky numbering Weatherspoon, Robinson, etc. on NFL.com and none of them had #'s listed on the player/roster pages. So maybe they didn't have official numbers yet or something - still not sure how they came up with the numbering they did though.

Props: Pro unis on the premiere guys, on card auto subset, no electrical storm this year, and simple design

Craps: Foilboard, all foilboard, weird numbering on parallels, lots of parallels, floating and weirdly placed jersey swatches on some of the subsets, price point for 1-2 autos (which could both be non-premiere guys)

Overallm its 100 million times better than last year, but far from the benchmark.

How long until Topps chrome again?

I assume you say it's better because they're in pro uniforms, but honestly that's a disadvantage in my mind. I liked the college unis. I guess we'll have to see how UD handles that department this year.

I too look at it as a con with the pro uniforms compared to the previous releases.

I would definitely prefer the pro uniform to Jimmy Graham's combine picture. I promise I'm done bitching about that now.

I also forgot, who decided to add players like Justin Gage and Antwaan Randle-el to the jersey checklist? Its almost as bad as some of the crap they filtered into FOTG for last year's LCM. It means they actually went out and spent (a small amount of) money on a gamer from those scrubs. Seriously, WTF???

I USED to love Elite but it's gotten worse every year IMO. And I vote for using the college jerseys in the early stuff!

i think its a good idea for team collectors. getting the same 2-3 guys in every set gets old to me.

also, im curious what pictures they will use for the ud cards, since some of them wore jerseys with the extra patches

I just busted 4+ boxes and was pleasantly surprised with what I pulled. Multiple autos were the norm. It appears
they have a subset of the rookies with on card sigs, as I got one..pretty nice. The passing the torch set
is a joke though.

If anyone is looking for anything let me know.

While I agree about that to a point, I was thilled that Sinorice Moss made an appearance in FOTG last season, although I'm sure the majority wasn't. They're probably just dumping off old jerseys they already had rather than buying new ones, or so I would think.

Cooper and the unsigned bucs are not on ebay, so make me an offer on them.

Thanks

I opened a box today and one of my two autos was an Eric Berry NFL Shield on-card auto. Pretty nice that these are hard signed in their NFL team unis - they should be pretty collectible. They are unnumbered on the back - can we assume that Panini will be releasing SP numbers on these at some point or is there any intel out there on them that I haven't seen yet?

Those will be interesting. Im not real big on the design, for on card autos they could of been so much more, its almost
like they wern't sure they were going to be on card so they made a spot for a sticker anyways....the spot to sign
was way too small....still a nice addition. Someone is saying these are case hits.
