Ellis Burks GU Bat Project Complete!

I've been trying to acquire one bat for each team Burks played for throughout his career. Until now, a bat from his days with Colorado has eluded me. Finally landed one last week. Here they are:


Boston Red Sox (two more Red Sox bats at the bottom of this post):

I loved watching Burks play back in the 80's when I was growing up. Broke my heart when he left the Sox and 2004 was all the more special because he was on the team.

Thanks for the comments! Now I can focus on finishing up the Red Sox portion of Burks' cards and oddball items (currently at 73.9%...give or take.)

That's pretty cool and a great idea for people who collect players that have played on a bunch of teams. Now you have to find GU jerseys from each team to match!

I have a GU batting glove from his early days with Boston. I wouldn't mind finding more of them from the other teams.
