I liked it too, it's good white noise for me while i am at work. Enjoyed BG and the prospect discussion.

Although the smooth vocal stylings of DJ Mace needs a weekly segment

Just finished it...

So...first, I liked it and it was filled with good info.

But...it was too long. IMO, you could have held Brian for the next one and focused on the prospects here. Brian was good, but the prospects are more timely as the lists are all coming out now.

Thanks for doing these - I am sure that they are no small effort.

Uploading fully edited version now. Those of you who listened to the raw cut - you'll have to listen again! Make sure you listen until the very end - we included some outtakes.

You can always pause and come back, it's made to last you two weeks!

I think the chat with Adam Foster could have been a lot better if Wes didn't host it. Just my opinion, but I enjoyed it a lot more when Gilmore started asking questions about specific players.

I think the interview part was more to establish the purpose behind the list, the credentials of the person putting the list together and the process.

The question part of the discussion is generally based on our self interest with those players on the list. Just inviting someone on to talk about the players without understanding those issues would not be as interesting, IMO.

You missed my point. Obviously the audience would want to hear who he is, what he does, and why you have him on your show. My point was those simple opened ended questions could've been asked by someone that doesn't work for him.

Stuff like this,
"Adam why don't you discuss how we worked together to make a top 100 list."

Just finished listening - another great effort. I don't understand the 'too long' complaint in regards to podcasts. That's the beauty of a podcast - you can stop it and come back to it.

My point was that there was so much content that it could have easily made two pod casts instead of one. That is a compliment (and a recognition of the effort involved) not a complaint. Complaining would be silly...no one made me listen, I did not pay anything, I got to listen to informed people talking about my hobby. It was a win all around.

As far as pausing and coming back to goes...that is like opening half a box and saving the other half for tomorrow...I know there are many who can do that. I am not one of them.

Keep 'em coming.

I appreciate the criticism. I will say that I don't think his answers would have been any different if anyone else was interviewing him so I don't think that anything was lost. If there's something about my interviewing style that you'd like to see altered, I'm happy to listen - always looking to improve.

Listened to it today and enjoyed it. I've never got into podcasts and didn't think I'd really like it, but I was working on some other stuff on the pc and it was perfect to listen to while working. I'll have to go back to catch up on episode 1 and tune into future podcasts. I thought the length was good. Hell, I would have liked it to be longer. Maybe it'll sound stupid but I liked hearing you guys talk about popular fcb threads at the time. Kind of like a bunch of old buds jovially shooting the shat at the bar. It's nice to have the formal interview and informative stuff, but the joking tone and banter about relevant fcb and sports topics makes it interesting. Keep it light and funny and not 100% serious and you've got a winner in my opinion.
