When this set was first released I didn't go after any of the singles as I thought there were just too many. I got that impression from the countless different colors that different scanners showed, but once a checklist was released I had some catching up to do. I recieved the final pieces to both rainbows this week (Black /30 and Sapphire /3). Overall I am very happy with the total prices paid for all the fold-outs considering Lincecum is on it and the fact that the Chavez has the best looking swatch on all the cards. I don't actively collect 1/1's so I consider this set in the books, I would have really liked a black refractor foldout so each rainbow would have 6 but what can you do.
So here they are.
Total Cost of Rainbow: $7.50 (Most Expensive Sapphire /25 $3)
Total Cost of Rainbow: $160.00 (Most Expensive Sapphire /3 $48 (First one went for over $100))
/36
/27 (Dumb Color Choice)
/18
/9
/3 (By Far My Favorite)
