Eric Chavez Collection: 2009 Finest Rainbow Complete!

Finest since 2006 has been one of my favorite sets, it is the only set in which I actively pursue Press Plates and the other 1/1's from the set. I have been realitively lucky these past few years being able to pick up a majority of them.

I like how the border of the press plates corresponds to the color of the plate. Rowand hasn't been in Finest since 2005, but of course they didn't do that that year and I don't think I've even seen a Finest press plate for him.

flightposite: Thank you, I have definitely been lucky with most of the 1/1's being listed. My snipe was set at $80 glad I got it for only $7 more than the most expensive plate.I like the 04 SP GU too

Reds in 2009: Thank you, it is ashame but he hasn't been around much the past three years so its really no big surprise. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him back which is a true shame.

pghbuccos: Thank you, good luck finding the X-fractor, they aren't nearly as nice as previous 1/1's from the finest sets but still nice in their own right

mrwhitesox30: I agree, I am not a fan on non framed press plates. I believe I have only a small handful that aren't framed. That kind of stinks about your player not being in nice looking sets or cards you need not surfacing. I still love all your 03 LCM Emeralds and Blacks. I'd gladly trade all these for the 3 Mirror Blacks from 2003.

Those are so cool seeing them all together like that. Just love the 2009 set. 2007 my second favorite. I just started working on a player in 2009. For us Finest rookies/ can you break down the print run on each version that is out there to collect. I need to know what I may be in for and all the 1/1 that are made for 09 Finest.

Thanks for the breakdown. Pretty cool you got his 1/1 cards. Did those all just show up on Ebay or did it take some serious searching to find out who pulled some of them.

It is amazing EC Collector has gotten all those non plate 1/1. THose Finest 1/1 white X cards are amazing looking. My favorite 1/1 type cards from any product.

matchpenalty: You are welcome, all of them were acquired via ebay or via trade from another Chavez collector. I have been very fortunate that these have surfaced, there are countless 1/1's (most that I do not care about) that I haven;t seen that I assume were created.

ALL_THE_HYPE: Thanks, no rain at all I was aware that there was a red made just non of surfaced if they were actually created. I have yet to see an 07 BC Red Ref either, I'm starting to believe Topps just didn't want to make Red Refractors of some veterans, I know other collectors have yet to see their players as well.
