I got some really great deals on these cards, too good to pass up. My favorite pick up of the week is the button, it puts me at 7 of 10 buttons made and 6 of 6 Non 1/1's.

Always love seeing you weekly updates. Lost out on a card last night that would have been HUGE to add to my collection :(

jbone17: Thank you

donrusscrusademan: Thank you, based on what I have seen I do have the largest Chavez collections. There used to be 3 to 4 larger Chavez collectors each specializing in different areas (High End, 1/1's, Autos, and Older Releases) but each has sold off a majority of their collections to me. There is still 1 collector that has an impressive Chavez collection that has stopped collecting but it's still about half the size of my collection even though he does have a few cards that I would love to add to my collection.

Zan: Thanks, I'm sorry you missed out on a huge addition, which card did you lose out on?

I like the A's 8 Swatch, I still need to pick that one up.

I just got this one in:

It was a 1935 Goudey Premium R309-2. Very rare, and I thought the title was bad enough to not attract bidders. I was wrong, lost in the last few seconds..

pghbuccos: Thanks, it was my cheapest Button so far, it may be my least favorite but for $30 for a Button /4 I couldn't pass it up.

Reds in 2009: Thanks, its funny the "A's" 8 team swatch only has 2 A's left. The COA kind of looks funny with 7 team logos on it. How much did your 6 Swatch run, I believe I got the first one listed on ebay with a horrible title for $2-$3. I saw one close for $18 and was seeing where they had settled down to.

1st4040: Yes I did, I couldn't believe it sold for that high. It is a sweet card and I probably could have gotten from the seller for $30 or $40 (He is the same seller that sold me 5 of 6 1/1's including my Bat Knob, Mirror Black Auto, and 2 Barrel cards) I believe the card sold for $70 something, some set collectors must have gone wild for it.

Zan: I'm sorry man, what was your bid/snipe set to?

Great stuff! I love the look of that Decade auto. BTW, that is the most random pairing on a card I've seen. Stat Kings?? What did Phil Hughes ever lead the league in?

Zan: That really stinks man, sorry, good luck on the next one

Reds in 2009: Not bad, I really like the look of 6 swatch side by side with the alternating Grey/White jerseys

nevermore: Thanks, I really like the Decades auto and was disappointed in the smeared one I owned and have been looking for a replacement. Burbank had one for $50+, I am glad I waited and saved a good chunk of change. And I have no idea what the pairings mean on that one. Considering Chavez missed a large portion of 2008 and 2009 I know he didn't lead the league in anything.

Sure dude, rub it in. I get fired up for a single card, and you chime in with buttons, swatches, autos. :)

Holy frijoles, nice stuff and a great collection!

chippernate: Thanks, good luck tracking down a button. The Auto/Button is by far my favorite but the 03 and 04 Limiteds are beautiful sets as well.

ccolwell: Thanks :)

theplasticman: Thanks, that is awesome, how was down under? Hopefully you weren't down there during that drought that covered the cities in dust.

VizquelCollector: I always think of what it would be to collect a guy with fewer cards like Vizquel. There are definitely pros and cons to each. How many big Vizquel collectors are there? I know some lesser followed players sometimes have huge devoted card follows (Juan Gonzalez for example).

Great cards. Really like the look of the button cards in Ballpark this year.
