I'm having trouble deciding whether his Razor or USA Autos are better investments. I'm looking to pickup a few while prices are decent. Yes, I can do a little of both but...which do you prefer?

For example...Razor /699 On Card auto vs. USA On Card Auto?

I think given the price differential I'd still be inclined to go for the on-card USA. Known brand makes all the difference IMO.

Is that a shock? It's not like we haven't had multiple examples in the past of guys having USA cards sell better than Razor in Smoak, Alvarez, Matusz and more.

One vote for the Razor simply to be contrary. The Razors are good looking cards, and I'm all for competition with Topps.

I liked Razor's cards look, and still like them. I bought a lot of Casey Kelly and Ryan Westmoreland Razor cards. I only bought those in bulk though because they had no AFLAC or USA cards.

I voted for the usa though I like both. While prices have been creeping upward, I still think he's possibly the most underrated elite prospect. My guess is that it won't matter what you choose, there will still be money to be made.

Also, what is everyone's opinions on the razor metal autos? Is it common for these to be all scratched up on the front? Most of my hosmers are that way.

Not really. Hosmer Exclusive Razor AU's were getting like $4-$6 each last year. Just sold (5) for $15 ea. Tons of profit potential on those.

Maybe people were just holding out because they thought maybe hed get something chrome....but he still hasnt yet hence the slight price jump in razor and usa's because thats all hes still got. I still would rather have a BC AU
