Ernie Banks TTM Success

This is the first time that I have posted here but I wanted to show off the Ernie Banks auto I received today, 502 days after I sent it. I had the HOF postcard and I sent it (2nd or 3rd attempt) figuring that I would never get it back. I am finding that it is worth sending to players that I don't expect a return because the couple that I get back are worth losing the cards that I send.

Very cool! I have no luck with TTM. About 10% return rate.

I think that happens fairly often, that players will sign and send a pile of TTM requests every so often when they accumulate a ton of them. I friend of mine who collects hockey autos waited 2 years for Mario Lemieux. Around the time he got his back, online message boards lit up with other Lemieux successes, so I guess he just doesn't sign that often.

Good reason to use "forever" stamps on your SASE.
