I'm glad I checked eBay before dumping my entire stack of ESPN Magazines from the past few years into the recycling bin. The BODY Issue from 2009 and 2010 sell really well on eBay. The 2009 ones get anywhere from $20 to $75 depending on the cover variation. The 2010 ones sell for a little bit less but still go in the $20-$30 range even with the subscription label! I don't typically bother listing magazines, but it was hard not to list after seeing them sell for that much. Amazon also has a bunch of these listed.

The 2011 Body Issue will be coming out next week, sales will probably increase with all the media attention, so this is the perfect time to list your back issues. I remember a bunch of ESPN Magazine subscription links were posted in the Baseball Talk area for $4/year, and many members signed up. Wanted to let you guys know in case anyone was interested.

THx for the heads up. I guess I'll be keeping mine for a while to resell later. I usually take a quick glance thru each issue then chuck it, since the quality of articles in general are lackluster, and the thing is about 65% ads (I only got the $2/yr sub for the free Insider included).

Does anyone have any back issues of ESPN The Magazine from 2005?

There's an issue that ran in July with artwork of the Washington Nationals crossing the Delaware River (a spoof of George Washington...) that I've been trying to locate for a long time.

Thanks!

Yeah, not a big fan of the Magazine, but like you said it is worth paying the few dollars just for the Insider access.

Those who have existing subscriptions, here's a link for 1 year renewal for $1.00: http://www.espn.com/thankyou. Enrolls you in the auto-renewal program, but you can go online into your account settings and turn it off very easily. Adds 12 months onto your current subscription expiration date.

Figures-This proves ESPN hates me, and why I hate it- I have my issue from 2009( in perfect condition) but it has Carl Edwards on the cover.

Believe it or not, that was the second best seller after the Gina Carano cover. They were selling for upto $50 back in 2009, I can't seem to find that particular one listed anywhere, but I think you can probably get well over $30 for it.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm off to dig mine out. I know I had the cover with the womens team on it and I think I had one with a lady in a modified wheelchair. Will look...hope I'm not wrong about the other cover :?

Just got my 2011 issue in the mail today. Of the five covers I ended up getting Jose Reyes. Going to trash my copy, not going to bother listing this one. Those got the Hope Solo and Bleiler covers may get ~$25, but in general these don't seem to be doing as well as the ones from previous years. It may still be early as these have just hit newsstands yesterday.

Anyway, I was still very pleased to sell my 2009 and 2010 issues for $20, and $30 though. Hope that those of you who listed your copies also did well, some have gone for ~$50 in the past few days.

I looked at mine last night and recognized maybe 5 of the athletes...... Solo, Bleiler, Reyes, Steven Jackson and Helio Castroneves.

Reyes is the cover of my Body issue.

I checked to see when my subscription ran out.... still 2+ years.... Dec 2013. I thought it was only a 3 year thing I did... but this is my 2nd Body Issue and still 2 more years to go.... I like it. Now I guess I should activate my insider.

Did some digging and found my issue from last year.... Camillo Villegas None on ebay... none ended.... maybe I should list it.
