You have to wait to get your first issue but yes, it totally works.

I'm not sure I ever found the magazine to be worth $4 a year, though I definitely like the insider content.

The insider is definitely worth every penny of $4/year. The mag is mainly bathroom reading material.

i did a deal similar to this last year and it took like 8-10 weeks before anyone started receiving their magazines.........and then EVERYONE git theirs in.

Just gotta be patient.

I was actually thinking about doing this, but a week ago I just went on the ESPN site all the way to the page before buying Insider at regular price. Then I decided against it and hit back on my browser. A pop-up came up offering me Insider for free if I signed up for an affilate program, so I did a free trial of Gamefly and got Insider free for a year. You get the digital version of ESPN magazine as well, and best of all, you don't have to wait. Your access is granted immediately. Pretty great.
