Unrelated but I've got an eTopps question. Do they ever award points for an event that doesn't take place in the same year as the card? I've got a 2010 Jeter in my portfolio which I'm going to sell (roughly $3) but I don't want to ditch it quite yet just in case they give a bunch of points for his 3000th hit. Seems unlikely but was curious if there was a precedent.

When they offer a daily jackpot the 2010 cards would be eligible for the reward (points).
The 3000th hit in itself won't be worth anything thought.

on the top page (www.etopps.com) there is a banner marked "Daily Jackpot rewards" Sometimes they offer reward points if a player meets a goal for that day. i.e. "If a player hits a double and a triple you win ten points"
