I am going to be out of the game for a while in 2 weeks or so due to University plus an internship...So before I go, I was wondering what you all think of the prospect portfolio I have put together. I still have about $200 worth of purchases coming in, but my buying is done, as is my selling (for the most part). Keep in mind that I have moved quite a few high end cards the last few weeks (lots of Feliz and Friedrich among others)....

Somewhat of a lack of chrome. Not sure why you went so heavy into Contenders/Elite.

Do people really call it university? I think you'll need more chrome but i'm usually wrong.
Maybe he's British
I agree with the others, more chrome is needed. Also, I like to spread my guys across years too, instead of having a ton of guys from one year (you have a bunch of 08 guys in there).
I also think you may have overextended in terms of number of players. I'm all for diversifying, but quite obviously, the more guys you have, the greater the chance that one of them flops (with many of them will, just the way the game works). I like to put money into maybe 5 guys I am VERY sure about instead of 20 guys who I'm pretty sure about, but maybe that's just me.

He's Canadian. All the Canadian's I know that are college aged or that have gone to college refer to it as University. Which is at least 3-4 people. In case you were going to ask.

I'm a Georgia boy and I went to a University, so I call my time in upper education my time at University.

I know nothing about your prospects though.

I'm going to start calling "college" the time I matriculated at university studying for degrees I regret (minus my most recent).

I have not kept up with prospects much recently so I honestly don't know most of the guys you have. That said, if loads of people all feel that your portfolio is "great" and yo bought recently, it likely means that you've paid the already inflated prices. The more people that say you've "done it wrong" the better chance you have of having "done it right." (I'm sure you know this, but just pointing it out.)

I don't really understand how people can vote without knowing what price you bought in at. For all we know, at current market prices are already making/losing a ton of money. Fact is, pretty much every card goes up or down significantly many times over the years, and depending on the prices you paid, there's no such thing as a card or player that is a "bad investment."

The only one could evaluate something like this is to assume that I paid market prices. Look at growth potential.
