Rays had a deadline. In early April, Longoria would have gained no-trade power with 10 years in bigs (and at least 5 with one team), and it would have been another Stanton situation. He would have been able to veto a deal to San Francisco. Now he can't.

I don't see why he would complain, could have been to a worse team.

Also i like Arroyo...he just might hit 20 + hrs in those tiny AL East parks.
