Even worse 2011 Bowman Box Break...WTF Topps?!

I thought my first box break of this was bad, I got a good deal on a box yesterday and....
NOTHING

When I say nothing, I mean NOTHING.
Not only was there no Auto--THERE WERE NO CHROMES IN THE BOX!!!!!

The entire box was base bowman cards. No Chromes, No Inserts, No Color....NOTHING.

I already contacted topps about this with a scan of the packs, all of the cards and the UPC. There are no cards missing from the box as the chromes were replaced with base bowman cards. I also got 11 checklist cards.

Im so disappointed in the product. I cant bear to spend any more on it. I thought the first box was a fluke. Ive now bought 2 boxes and 2 packs and the only auto I hit was in one of the 2 packs from a new box. 2 sealed boxes with no auto in it means no more of this stuff.

Will keep an update of the situation to see what Topps does and how they make this right.

I would agree that this was/is a resealed box which might explain why you got such a good deal on it.

sorry but i'm calling BS on this. there is NO way you can convince me that it was a sealed case and all the other boxes got chromes and an auto and you got the only random box with not a single chrome in it when all of the packs are inserted at random. i believe alot of strange things but no way this one.(unless the box was indeed resealed)

Call it as you like, but Topps didnt seem all that surprised when I called and talked to them about it.
They said they would "make good on the situation" whatever that means. I opened another box from a sealed case a few days ago and it was missing the auto as well. Came from a completely different state. I've been on the good end of poor collation as well opening a hobby box of bowman last year that had 6 autos in it.

I can believe this, because I heard of 2 guys open boxes in front of different store owners of 2010 Bowman Chrome Baseball and not getting any auto's, refractors or insert cards, just base! Topps has really been a huge screw up in the past few years. It does seem like the early products like Topps Series 1 and Bowman along with the late products like Bowman Draft and Bowman Sterling are normally really good, except in this case of course!

If there was clearly a theme, just stop and call Topps. It would be more likely for him to get a whole box replacement.
