About 2 months ago (January 28), I won a card from a seller in Taiwan. Paid promptly. After a month with no card, I sent a message asking if it was sent. No response was received. I opened a claim, no response was received.
After 10 days, ebay awarded me a refund, that came through March 12.
Fast forward to today. I received a letter from the USPS International Inquiry CTR, on behalf of the seller, with a customs #.
The letter asked if I had received anything from the seller, listed his address, and listed the customs #.
It gave two options (I have received, I haven't received), and asked me to sign and date. Came with a postage paid envelope to return it to the claims center PO BOX (in Denver).
I checked out the USPS website on the matter (http://www.usps.com/insuranceclaims/intlclaims.htm), and was confused as to what this is about. Is this so the seller can receive a refund for a lost item? I never received the item, and the customs label # still doesn't register in the USPS system.
Anyone have personal insight on what this is all about?
