I went with a couple buddies yesterday to get some drinks and some wings and one table over from us was a pretty recognizable guy

That's pretty awesome. I would have waited until he was done and asked for a picture. But then again I seen Darryl Strawberry at the foodcourt waiting in line in an STL mall and did nothing.

I thought about it but I really can't stand the guy. Pretty funny cause the Rays-Yankees game was on right in front of him and he wasn't even watching it

I would've shook his hand and said that I've followed his career and wish him future success.

A rare time I wouldn't have been a ******.

I want a signed version of this.

As a friend of mine said when I showed this to him, "has anyone ever had as fast and as full a fall from grace as Arod? a mere 5 years ago, he was the guy that was going to remove the taint of steroids from all the HR records".

And now he's at a Hooters in Sarasota, yawning by himself like any other guy bored on a weekend.

I would have wished him luck and told him I hope to see him back on the field soon.

In 2011 when he was rehabbing in SWB we ate at Longhorn Steakhouse before the game and he was there with three other guys. He was eating take-in couscous .

They were seating everyone in the bar section because they didn't want anybody noticing him. The waitress however, told us that he was sitting over there. When he left I got him to sign my ticket stub from the previous day.
