Carlton Fisk 2009 UD Ultimate Patch Logo 35 Comiskey Park White Sox Jersey | eBay

Jorge Posada 2009 UD Ultimate Patch Logo 35 Made New York Yankees SP Jersey | eBay

You can clearly see in the top left corner of the frame where the scratches/creases are. He's also got a more humble Michael Young listed that shows no signs of these scratches/creases. What are the odds he's got these two amazing patches? And out of /35? I'm only asking because I'm amazed at how many people have bid on these and how high the bidding has already gotten. Am I missing something here?

Wow, red flags all over the place on this one. The guy hasn't left or received any feedback in 6 months, and when he was receiving them, they were negatives for scamming. All his previous auctions were private. Anytime you see an auction for a #'ed card like this, and the exact serial # is not disclosed in the auction anywhere, that's a problem.

Yeah. I've been tracking this seller for a while. He's a Maryland seller who ships from multiple houses and PO boxes in the Baltimore area. He's gone through about 5 eBay accounts since I had my first transaction with him. I bought 2 Matsuzaka sticker autos and they were both bad (the sticker and autos were legit, but the stickers were clearly removed from other cards and placed on some super SP'd cards). I returned those and filed complaint with eBay. Both of those accounts were suspended. Then the same autos popped up again about a year later. I bought them again, went through the same process, got my money back and those accounts were suspended. I saw one of those autos pop up again a couple months ago. I won it again and when I filed my claim yet AGAIN, he just issued refund and let me keep the phony card. The 2nd auto just popped up again yesterday from this "tedwilliamsgames" account, and I was watching it and was going to win it again for the 3rd time, but I noticed it just got ended early.

(I hope nobody made and offer on that because it's bogus.)

Anyway, I thought I would take a look at some of his other items and those patches stood out. I'm not sure why people would bid so high on those, especially when his feedback is so awful.

I'm not saying they are fake or not but the creasing in the corners of the windows is fairly common for that set.

Yeah, I've seen that on cards like this from other sets before, so I'm not sure if that is evidence of tampering or not. Would like to hear from someone who has pulled a jumbo swatch/patch card that had creasing on a corner like that right out of the pack.

I have seen enough ripped personally that I can safely say they came out that way with the creasing.

I'm willing to pay $1 each for those cards just to destroy them. PetMonster summed it up pretty well.
