Who would you start out of these:
Justin Forsett (Julius Jones is out, but he's playing the best defense-minnesota)
Greg Jennings (Questionable)
Marshawn Lynch
Ryan Moats
Roy Williams
Donnie Avery
Justin Fargas (Mcfadden is back, btw)

Thanks.

Why? You would start more?!
Here is my lineup for RBs and WRs:
RB-Matt Forte
RB-Rashard Mendenhall
RB/WR-One of them
WR-Santonio Holmes
WR-Roddy White

Huh? You weren't specific from the getgo which is why I asked.

I would go with Forsett or Lynch. I wouldn't touch Williams, Fargas, Avery or Jennings. You can let the projected points lure you in for Jennings but prepare to be dissapointed as always. Not to mention he's now struggling with a bruised knee.

Actually the last 2 weeks Williams has showed up and last week was his best week all year and he was the only player on the Cowboys who showed up.

I personally would go like this:
1) Greg Jennings
2) Roy Williams
3) Marshawn Lynch
4) Ryan Moats
5) Justin Fargas
6) Justin Forsett
7) Donnie Avery

None of these guys look like they are going to have a big game but if any of them are I would go with the guy who has the #1 fantasy QB throwing to him and that is Greg Jennings.

:| Define "showed up". RW scored a whopping 7 points last week, and this week yes, he did in fact score and go for 100 recieving. BUT, he also had the fumble and numerous miscues/missed attempts. I wouldn't be overly eager to risk anything in his name quite yet.

And Greg Jennings? Here we go again. ::facepalm::

The team's "No. 1" wideout had only four catches for 45 yards against the Cowboys -- his sixth straight game without 100 receiving yards. Jennings has just two touchdown receptions this season and only one in the last eight games.

Jennings can have the "#1 QB" at the helm all he wants. The simple fact is that he has hardly been the true go to guy this season. Thank God I only drafted Jennings in only one out of the five teams I drafted. Easily the biggest WR FF bust of the season. To think he was being drafted routinely in the second round nation wide. *OUCH* I benched his ass a while ago and he hasn't given me cause to look back since.

Avery has the best matchup. Williams and Forsett may not be horrible either. I always go based on matchups though and I would probably go with Avery because he has the best chance of scoring.

However, if Bernard Scott is available, he's the lone back against Oak. I'd pick him off the waiver line and use him for a week.

Um, not even close. Calvin Johnson = #1 with Steve Smith (CAR) at #2.

"Um", define close. ::facepalm::

Steve Smith- 512 yds, 3 td's = 68 pts

Calvin Johnson- 436 yds, 1 td = 49 pts

Greg Jennings- 543, 2 td's= 66 pts

Well, at least Jennings is "outperforming" the guy who has missed several games due to injury this season along with being on one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Calvin Johnson didn't play in 2 games and got hurt early in the Steeler game, so he basically missed 3 games. He also has a rookie QB throwing the ball to him.

Steve Smith has more fantasy points than Jennings as Snyper just pointed out. smith also has the INT machine known as Jake Delhomme.

You even said it yourself, Jennings "has the #1 fantasy QB throwing to him"......that means he should have a lot more fantasy points than he does.

::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

DEAR LORD, when does the baseball season start?!?!?!?!?

Hank Baskett has the #2 fantasy QB throwing it to him, but that sure as heck doesn't make him the better choice.

Calvin Johnson is the better of the three receivers being discussed above. Even with missing games and being stuck with a subpar offense, he still performs solid.

You aren't using normal scoring. With normal scoring:

Jennings: 80.3
Smith: 78.8
Johnson: 58.8

And they were ranked going into the season:
Smith: #4
Johnson: #5
Jennings: #7

I'm using Yahoo default settings. (Normal scoring.) What are you using?

Either way we are getting waaaay off the subject matter.

My point was that I'd sooner start a backup RB against a Vikings run defense than to use a near worthless 2009 Greg Jennings.

He's probably using ESPN's default settings.

Thank you for everyone's opinions. I don't think I'll start Jennings, he has been a disappointment every time I've started him this year. I'm probably gonna go with Forsett or Roy Williams. Forsett looked great last week, and even though he will be against the Vikings defense, I still think he'll be good for 60 yards and a score. Williams has been showing signs of improvement, so there is the possibility of him having a monster game, but I'm skeptical.

That's not "normal scoring". Good choice not trusting Roy this week. I hope he does good, being a Cowboys fan, but I don't trust him.

Then where are you getting the fractions of points? Normal scoring gives you an even number. Is that giving you the .XX for every yard going into the next 10? I'm not up to doing the math atm.
