So I have had Micheal Young in at SS all season, and this week I may be bumped out of 1st place due in partial to his injury. Who do you think I should replace him with of these 2 bench players at the same position.

Stephen Drew, Elvis Andrus.

I had Drew in at a utillity player, I bumped him for Billy Butler, and now am deciding whether to put him back in at SS or go with Andrus instead.

Here are the two guys stats this far:

Pts AB R H HR TB RBI BB SB CS AVG

Drew: 378 456 63 119 12 202 58 46 5 1 .261

Andrus: 336 401 63 111 6 159 32 34 26 4 .277

I'm having touble because Drew has the longballs, but Andrus has the steals. Taking into consideration At-Bats, they're pretty even everywhere else.

Any input would be appreciated.

The rest of my team is this:

C- Mauer
1B- Tex
2B- Pedroia
3B- Chipper
SS- Micheal Young(DL) Andrus/Drew
OF- Jason Kubel
OF- Denard Span
OF- Micheal Cuddyer
Utillity- Billy Butler

Pitching staff- Yankees

daily or weekly moves? I would play the one who has more home games that week. I think both have a favorable split at home

Also keep in mind Butler has done most of his production at home this year. His home to road splits show heis a monster at home and only average on the road

You must have been surprised yesterday that butler stole you a base

Definately something to take into consideration. Its a weekly move, so I'll have to my decision before gameplay Monday.

Since I picked up Butler yesterday, I haven't gotten any of his points thus far in the season. He's been put into the lineup, so I'll start seeing what he can do for me Monday.

based on your lineup, I would imagine you lose SB every week (if weekly) or are super low in category if cummulative stats

so, would adding Andrus steals even make a dent?

Thats true, I've been running away with this thing for most of the season. I'm still at 1st in my division out of 6, but I' tied atop with 2 others as well. I just need someone to fill the void until Young comes back, so I'm really only expecting a couple points a day from that position just to help out.

I get most of my points from Hits and Homers, and I think my cumulitive .BA is somewhere between .290 & .310. I'll probably test the waters with Andrus this week, and make my decision next week.

Thanks for the input guys
