I love my piece of the old Metrodome, under which Frank hit HRs #1 and #500, among others. Frank was nice enough to inscribe it for me at one of his Big Hurt Beer free signings. Another collector took the piece in for me.

I was once a very avid autograph collector at minor league games. To spice things up, I was trying to get all of the 1998 Bowie Baysox set personalized to me with any inscription the player wanted. This led to some hits and misses, but the best was Howie Clark, who at one point made the majors with the Blue Jays (not sure about the Orioles). He was carrying a big tub of laundry that apparently he had the clubhouse attendents wash and fold, and didn't mind signing: "To Todd, Never Do Your Own Laundry, Howie Clark"
