Nope, just one of the best 5 pitchers ever.
That is where most writers put Favre, top 5 quarterbacks.

Does the guy take some crazy risks? Absolutely, always has...and judging be last night he always will.

If the Vikings hadn't had 12 men on the field they might not have had to worry about Favre throwing an interception.

Don't be so sure! He would have audibled out of the called run to try and be the hero. That is Favre, and that is what he is all about. He is a stat guy, winning is way down the list of important things to him. Hell, I remember that playoff loss to Vick and Atlanta! Favre was on the field yawning as they were getting their tails kicked. This guy is a loser.

Please prove where Favre has audibled out of a run. You stated he did this a lot earlier in the year, but never backed it up.

It was all over ESPN! He audibled out of called runs against Green Bay multiple times, and at least once against Detroit. That is why he and Childress were fighting. Childress tried to pull him from the game and Favre refused to come out. Real team player. This guy is all about himself, always has been.

Link me to an article. The last one you posted did nothing to back up your claim

By the way Brad, I see the Clemson paw, what do you think Spiller will do? I think he will be AWESOME! REALLY reminds me of Marshall Faulk in every way!

I don't hear anyone jumping all over Peterson for fumbling twice. Much like Favre, he gets the media hype for being one of the best players at this position.

Peterson doesn't say " I tried " after a game nor does the media make him sound like a saviour because " he tried " Sure , Peterson does a little bit to much at times but atleast he reacts to it the right way.

The guy plays nearly every down, every game, hasn't missed a start in 20 years. Sounds like he is all about himself.

That is a purty pointless thing to do but great for Brett running down field. Way to make up for all the running he missed in training camp.

That proves it! He doesn't miss a start because of his stupid precious record! He runs down field and throws stupid blocks because he knows the camera is fixed on him, makes him look like a good ole boy that just loves to play! Why would you want your franchise guy throwing a meaningless block and risking shoulder injury?!? ANother selfish play that he knows will get him talked about on sportscenter.

Thank you bodiaz and 19braves77, for proving my point.

Defend your hillbilly QB all you want. Here is the article you asked for. There are about 50 others just like it. Just type in google.com and type 'Brett Favre audible' in the search box. Don't know if you ever heard of google, apparantly not.

I don't even like the guy, hate the Vikings - even moreso the Packers.

Just call it like I see it, and with all of the "haters" coming out of the wood work now that the Vikes have been eliminated, just proves the guy is anything BUT overrated.

Any legit sources like ESPN, CBS, Fox Sports, a Minnesota paper? I am sorry I do not trust

And then we found out about the fact that Favre has been audible out of run plays and into pass plays, which goes against the Childress’ whole run first philosophy.

As far as CJ, I would put $10 on him breaking Chris Johsnon's 40 had he not had turf toe. I still think Jacoby Ford will do it at the combine. He is a good between the tackles guy, but has the ability to make a cut at the line when he sees an opening at the second level. He is not as soft as some people want to say and will be a good NFL player.

Do you guys really want Favre leading your team? His last two NFC Championship games, he has literally given the game away.
What makes "not caring about throwing interceptions" a good quality? I want a guy who can protect the ball and still make plays, and there are plenty of them out there.

I would sell my left nut to have Favre play in San fran. He's better now than anything we've had in the previous 10 years.

Things Favre thought during the time this pic was taken:

1. Well the money to throw this game makes it worthwhile. My seats will be good in Miami and am a Saints fan...

2. Opps......

3. Why are none of my teammates telling me its okay.

No, there would have been a game if Favre didn't show up and they would have been a playoff team.
