I hope none of you are offended by "Christmas" in the title.

I'll be heading out before too long to Pittsburgh to work my first Steelers game. I'm so pumped. I just hope they don't put me on the sidelines, because you have to have your back to the game the entire time. This better be a damn good game since I have to miss Dallas live at 4:00. On the plus side, Charlie Batch might play, so that makes it better.

I hope you enjoy it B!

My advice is that if an insanely big Central American-sounding dude with a Big backpack full of 'roids shows up, get out. There ain't gonna be anybody left to report you anyway.

Plus you ain't missing much "action". With Batch playing vs. the Rams, who are probably playing Clemens, will there even be 20 Completions total in the whole game?

Around here we actually have two good Games on for the First time in months... :?

And I'm no Berman devotee, but it'll be cool to see an old-fashioned "Primetime" tonite too...

Merry Christmas Eve!! we're doing all our family Christmas celebration today. Gotta start preparing a big brunch in a few minutes here. I've got four pounds of bacon, and I cooked a corned beef roast last night! I'm salivating just thinking about it.

I absolutely hate how NFL is today and NBA is tomorrow. I wish NFL was both days and went head-to-head with NBA. I hate the NBA and refuse to watch it.

Honestly I was really hoping for a cancelled NBA season. My interest in basketball doesn't go beyond the college level, and I would have loved to see all the greedy bastards in the NBA, players and owners alike, miss out on a year of pay.

Agreed. I wanted it out and hoped NHL could get more attention. It pisses me off how SportsCenter spent more time on preseason NBA than real NHL games.

Yeah, that killed me too. Plenty of great NHL stories and action, and the NBA whining still received a majority of the media attention.

Merry Christmas Eve guys!

My mother and I exchange our Christmas gifts today; I work tonight from 4-closing tonight at Wally World (hopefully around 8:30).

Do they have to call the Cops out to help close up the Store?

They do it here now after having a bunch of problems in years past... ::facepalm::

I live in a town of around 7,000; so hopefully, no. That said, it was ridiculously crazy last night. Who knows, if it gets too bad they might have to go that route. Thinking back, I believe a cop or two was in the store last year.

Probably going to run to the store soon. Had a couple different Sam Adams winter beers and liked them. Will have to see what sampler or 6 packs they have.
