I didn't really fill my pants, although I had a few "too scared to fart" moments.

That's enough about my digestive system for today.

I'm not into pro soccer at all, but love watching my kids play. My 13 year old started playing for the school this year, it's crazy how intense the games are with kids that young.

I know what you mean Craig. I played starting at age 5 all the way through my senior year in high school. A small college in NY wanted me to play for them, but I always wanted to go to a large school with a big athletic program, so I made my choice and partied instead of trained

Actually...Fútbol!!!

Actually its called...Crap.

:)

Ouch man!

I think the reason the game isn't as popular is the US as it is in the rest of the world is because we all have short attention spans and need a lot of scoring in order for a sport to be fun to watch  Touchdowns, field goals, home runs, dunks, 3 pointers... Hell, there have been rule changes to sports in order to encourage more scoring. There is really a lot of action and strategy that goes on in a soccer game if you know what to watch for.

I used to be one of those big anti-soccer guys, but then I watched an international game back in '08 on the big screen at a bar...and loved it. I really got into it, and have caught a few games when I had the chance since. I couldn't watch a MLS match, but there's just something about international matches that's exciting.

I'm a little bummed that Ireland isn't in it right now.

oh I'll watch the world cup just to route against Mexico. It seems as though everyone is Mexican all of a sudden around here. Also will route for my Japanese cousins...:)
