Good morning all. Getting ready to head into work in a little bit. Going in this early is tough for me, but it is definitely worth it today

Good morning all!
Memorial Day is a day to remember those who gave all so we can enjoy the lives we have.
Just something to think about while you're enjoying your day.

need to share ; lost a long time man that I highly respected yesterday age 81 . He taught me how to swim 1950's , worked as lifeguard , water instructor at local rec many years, worked as a teacher and Eagle Scout .
I told him years ago that I was still teaching swimming and that he taught me how to do it right .
Not often that I cry but this is one . RIP my old friend

Morn'............. Happy Memorial Day

A guy joins a monastery and takes a vow of silence: he’s allowed to say two words every seven years. After the first seven years, the elders bring him in and ask for his two words. “Cold floors,” he says. They nod and send him away. Seven more years pass. They bring him back in and ask for his two words. He clears his throats and says, “Bad food.” They nod and send him away. Seven more years pass. They bring him in for his two words. “I quit,” he says. “That’s not surprising,” the elders say. “You’ve done nothing but complain since you got here.”

Thanks all .
Imagine you weigh about 150 lb's and the instructor is about 400 , he pushes off the bottom comes up like a whale and you have to fight him off to pass to be a life guard .
He always wore one of those Jungle Jim hats when working .

Morning All!

Have a great Memorial Day! Memorial Day is for those Military Veterans who have passed, not for the living, not for a sale at the mall, not for an excuse to get drunk, not for a social gathering to have a big BBQ. Go to a parade, ceremony or just visit one of the many memorial monuments, plaques or parks dedicated to those Military Veterans who have passed on. The UAW has handed their yearly petition in to corporate Ford to make sure their factories and distribution/dealerships are all closed today. So far, most of the factories are down today as are a handful of dealerships.
