I think I fell in love with Craig today :?. I won't be posting the freebie box that showed up at my house until tomorrow, but let's just say I was happy to find one of his balls inside :o .

I really wished you would have turned off your sig when posting about one of my balls.

Sending my Manning red crusade to BGS this afternoon.

Has anyone sent a card to get a new slab? Not a card for grade reviewing but a card needing a new slab? Having trouble finding that info.

I had a card a while back where the BGS slab cracked in the mail on its way to me. I just brought it to the next Sun-Times show and took it to their table and they re-slabbed it for me free of charge. Don't know if you have any shows near you, but if you do, probably worth waiting for that opportunity.

Went in early to work, easy much, told me to go home. :D
Nice :)

And I only said that in the grading thread because it's the day the grades are supposed to come back and you were the first one to post about it. ;) I'm chomping at the bit and fighting myself to not check the pop report. Hope they come in before I go to the gym.

Thanks!

I presume that if you take an old slab they put the new slab label?

Just won a pretty nice card, I'm pretty stoked right now.

I won a big one yesterday but would prefer staying silent on the public forum until I know it is in the mail. Pretty solid price.

Man, thought I found the 1/1 but according to my list the 1/1 just says "Go Irish" with no "21". Supposedly 78 of this version. The smiley face is probably gonna keep me away from it...

I think J-Rod had one of these a while back and I don't remember it having a smiley face.

Profootballtalk.com reports that Dez Bryant is being sued by a Dallas jeweler for $246,000.
Rafaello & Co claims that they provided Bryant with $267,000 in jewelry, and he only paid $21,000. The bulk of the purchases were reportedly made before and after last April's draft. On February 18, 2010, Bryant dropped $144,000, including $60,000 for a "custom charm." Bryant's five-year rookie contract signed in July, 2010 contained a $1.95 million signing bonus.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... n-jewelry/

update to that

two lawsuits from jewelry stores now allege that Dez Bryant owes over $800,000 in unpaid purchases.
The first suit claimed Bryant owed $246,000. The latest accuses him of failing to pay more than $600,000 worth of jewels and unpaid sporting event tickets. Bryant co-signed the items with his adviser, David Wells, who allegedly feared losing Bryant as a client and knew he'd hit it rich in the NFL. All of the purchases were made prior to Bryant's rookie season, and many before the draft. We're not what a 22-year-old needs with nearly a $1 million in jewelry.

A landlord in Stillwater, Oklahoma sued Dez Bryant in January of 2010 for damages and failure to pay rent.
Noticing a pattern here? The Deion Sanders flap started because Bryant backed out of an endorsement deal with Under Armour only to keep the sporting goods company's money. He has also failed to repay more than $800,000 worth of jewelry and sporting event tickets. As Sanders suggested, Bryant's word means absolutely nothing. Talent is the trump card with Bryant, but he desperately needs help learning how to be a pro.
