Hey guys, how's it going? In case anybody's interested, there's a Strasburg going up today on eTopps at 1300 eastern. I'll be buying one for my tiny collection, but it should be a super easy flip even if you don't want to keep it.

Your credit card, ending with the last four digits xxxx, will be charged only after the ordering window has closed and cards have been allocated (you may not get all the cards you ordered) and only for the value of cards you have received. You will be notified via e-mail no later than 3 days after the IPO closes as to how many cards you'll be receiving and the total charge to your credit card.

Yeah, pretty much. Except it's not 3 days. These cards will be on sale until next Monday, with the exception of the Stanton. You'll find out if you get one shortly thereafter. Sometimes, you find out on the day the item ends. Sometimes, you wait like 5 days to find out. The Stanton is a RRO, a Restricted Rookie Offering, meaning that once that card is sold he will never have another etopps card again. THAT card is slated to end on the 17th. The rest stay until the 21st.

It's kind of stupid really. Popular cards, like this Strasburg, sell out within hours. However, Topps still takes 'orders' for the cards for days and days afterward.

I forgot to mention the other kind of crappy thing about etopps. For those who like to actually see and have their card in hand, this year's baseball cards probably won't be available to ship until around the end of the season.

You can resell them as soon as they're live in your account though, correct? It's been a while since I've done anything but bought a few on ebay.
