Sick Shady/McKillop auto. He is looking like a stud for the niners.

Dude. Don't mean to boast but my "Ultimate Weapon" team needs 94 points in this final fantasy game to reach 1,500 points for the regular season. That is ******* insane for a standard points yahoo league with standard positions QB/WRWRWR/RBRB/TE/K/DEF

Thanks man, pretty much all my teams did well this season, but this one was just flat insane. This is the lineup I've been rolling with for the most part. Keep in mind that this is a 12 man league as well. Not 10.

I'm 12-1 right now. Only lost the very first game by just 2 points. Ouch...

Tom Brady
Marques Colston
Calvin Johnson
Chad Ocho Cinco
Maurice JonesDrew
Chris Johnson
Dallas Clark
(Kickers and Defenses constantly changed. Right now it's Rob Bironas and Cincinnati)

Watched Terminator: Salvation tonight. I thought it was pretty good. Talked to people who said that it sucked, but aside from a few minor annoyances I enjoyed it. The one thing that got me was (spoiler alert) using det cord on the 'nuclear' power cells to somehow trigger a nuclear explosion. Nuclear fusion works nothing like that and is actually a very exact process. (end spoilers)

Then hopped on MW2 and had a HOT streak. Probably went about 35/10 tonight, and had two last kills in a row. Felt good. I guess it could have something to do with the fact that this is the first time in a week or two I've played the game completely sober, but we'll see. I'm not watching much at the moment as far as cards go; seems like there's not much to watch, not to mention Christmas spending is putting a bit of a clamp on the wallet.

Finally, I opened up my claim against the deadbeat seller today. Not 10 minutes later I've got a reply in my inbox saying that it shipped out today and he meant to tell me but there's 'all sorts of stuff going on in his life right now.' Hah, like I haven't heard that one before. Whatever makes him feel better I guess. He said he'd refund my money when I get the card, but I'm not looking for that. I just wanted my dang 99 cent card like he sold me, and even if it took a while to get to me, a little bit of communication would have stopped the problem before I had to escalate.

I loved Salvation. I never listen to any of the critics. Just like I LOVED the AVP's but all the critics and fanboys made it seem like watching them was like eating rocks.

As far as the detonation you're talking, to be honest I didn't even notice, mostly because having learned most of that **** anyway, I have no choice but to turn off my realism meter at the theater door and just enjoy myself. I think that's the mistake too many of these people make is they are looking for an award winning film no matter the movie. I say just enjoy it for what it is.

I still enjoyed the movie, it's just those little things bug me. As long as those things are relatively minor in the movie or simply serve to move the plot along, I'm generally ok with them. Occasionally a movie plot will hinge on these 'facts' though, and it's then that I don't enjoy myself.

Take "Eagle Eye" for example. If you haven't seen it, the plot revolves around a computer that guides an identical twin to itself so it can scan his biometrics and 'unlock' itself, essentially going all skynet. The plot in that movie hinges on absolutely EVERYTHING the main character interacting being connected to the internet, which is simply not true. Add to that that the main twist is basically the fact that the character was tricked into going to this mainframe facility because he's a twin of somebody else is ludicrous. Not to mention the fact that even identical twins don't have the same biometrics, so the thing wouldn't have worked either way.

Another relatively recent offender was "Untraceable" with Tom Hank's son. The movie was about a website that some killer set up to broadcast murders live to the world. The police couldn't shut down this website because it 'switched IPs every few seconds.' This is more or less impossible, simply because of the way the internet works. When you type a web address into your browser, the program consults a DNS server. The DNS server looks at the address and sends back the IP address of the website's server. Essentially, it would be like consulting the yellow pages to get somebody's phone number. While you can update your site's IP address in the world's DNS servers, it generally takes a while (and it is certainly not instant.)
