You'll still be protected through Paypal, I'm sure you didn't gift it.

I don't know if you guys remember the Boldin 1/1 TOTT quad that I had. I worked an off ebay deal for that. Same kind of thing happened that is going on with Brennan. Kept messaging the guy asking where it was and never got a response. After close to two weeks I filed a claim and sent him a nasty message. A very nasty message. Guess what showed up that day?

::facepalm::
Eh, he still deserved the nasty message for not contacting you back.
Oh ok, you should be good then......unless he sends you an empty package. That's one thing I always worry about, getting an empty bubble mailer sent with DC. The seller has proof he sent it and that it was delivered. I think if you filed a claim, paypal would side with the seller, because it shows it was delivered.

Yeah, not like I could file an "Item not as described" and mail him an empty one back with dc. ;)

Just read the rickyisgay thread again. Man that's some great stuff. Funny though, with all the hilarious shots that got taken at him, his own retarded posts made him look worse than anything.

I said some pretty wretched things to him, even for me. Oh well

I didn't even know who he was until two weeks ago. I probably noticed him before but avoided his posts. I usually just avoid the 13 year old boomets-type retards. Then he started running his mouth about people on here on SCF, which pissed me off. I wanted to join and screw with him, but it wasn't really my place to go on another board to attack him. I just waited till he came over here. I knew he would eventually. Sad thing is I was already locked, loaded, and ready to fire...then I looked him up and found out he's 30 friggin years old. My age. I had to alter my strategy a bit

If you continually act like a smacktalking crybaby loudmouth ******, you're gonna eventually piss the wrong person off. I'm that person. I do the same crap when I hear some arrogant frat boy acting like a dick to a girl at a bar. I'm always the one who walks up and tells him off

At the very least, I doubt Ricky will come back here. That's what I was trying to accomplish.

I still can't believe he's 30

True, but then what if he thinks you might do that and video tapes himself opening the package from you and it is empty....then what?

It will be nothing compared to my video of me packaging the card up. Whether it's really the card or a printed photo of the ebay auction in a toploader, well, paypal will not be able to tell.

Overpaying FTW. Hoping it's actually #1 /150 that would justify it a little I guess... [ebay:1v8q1icb]260353357478[/ebay:1v8q1icb]

Awesome win!

Speaking of overpaying, a Darryl Sharpton Sterling Plate Auto I wanted to win is up to about $10. It's a private auction, so I can't see who's bidding. Those auctions always make me think that there's shilling involved. Ebay hides user IDs enough that the option to make it "private" as they do only helps to aid shady sellers imo. Not sure if I want to throw a bid in for more than that for a plate.

I have a question: Why do people bid on items when there is still more than a minute left, like bidding on something that still has 2 days left....what's the point, why let other buyers know that there's someone else interested in it? Just throw your max bid in during the last minute.

does not matter. it is gonna go for what it is gonna go for anyways. I am an increment bidder. I bid early and often. I have seen no price issues on either type of bidding over my 3k feedback. I have even gotten cards lower for it is not out of character for me to have 18 bids on a 20 dollar card  I hoep the fear of shill bidding scares people off

Magnet, which super is it?

and I bid early, usually something small to remind myself about an auction and so that another collector or two can know I am going for it, sort of like marking my territory.

2010 Topps Chrome Darryl Sharpton Superfractor (non-auto)

I always throw in the min. bid when I see something I know I want. It helps me keep track of it because things get lost in the mix of my watch list.
