ffgameman - I subscribed to Gamefly a month or so ago and it's actually pretty nice. Works pretty much like Netflix and they've got a good selection of games. I think that the 2 games at a time subscription is $25 a month, more or less changes price accordingly.

Doesn't sound too bad.

What does that equate to yearly....around the price of five or six full-priced games?

Something like that. I just had enough of paying full price for a single player game that lasts 8 to 10 hours. The way I see it, even if I only finish 7 or 8 games in a year that's still a game or two that I would have played otherwise. Plus my bro has a PS3 at home, and while I wouldn't ever purchase a PS3 game there are still some exclusives that I may want to play. Gamefly enables me to do that.

Groat, the little holder for the one touch came out nicely.

I had a great time at the game yesterday. We sat in the outfield.

So I sent emails to Ultra Pro and Pro-Mold about a case for my Philadelphia Chicle mini. I heard back quite quickly from Pro-Mold, who said that they didn't have anything like that and had no plans to make it. Though I haven't heard from Ultra Pro yet, I'd imagine that they are the same. I absolutely didn't want to put it into one of those huge acrylic 4-screw things; they look ugly and they're so huge that they distract you from the card itself.

Anyway, I went to Wal-Mart and bought a pack of Panini basketball cards and an X-Acto knife. The pack had one of those blank white decoys in there that everybody knows and loves. After tracing the outline of the mini and a lot of cutting and hollowing out some of the guts of the decoy, it's become a frame that fits perfectly into a 75pt magnetic holder.

I was going to marker the decoy black, but once I got to this point I decided that I like how it looks right now.

Thats a fantastic idea!

also, it looks good with the digi cam pic.

I'm pretty jacked right now.

2:25 - I get a PM from somebody that I replied to their message asking about a price on a card.
2:53 - I reply with a price I was thinking and told him it was based on two others from ebay.
2:59 - He asks me really because he was thinking more since he never saw a patch like this card had.
3:04 - I show him the scans of the two cards I was referencing with swatches from the same overall patch.

I log on now and see these three PMs from him:

3:22 - He sent a PM back and said he agreed to my price, and to send it as PayPal gift, along with his paypal address.
3:39 - Hey man are you doing this or what I have other people asking.
4:23 - card gone...sorry.

Did he not just agree to and confirm a deal at 3:22!? And then because I wasn't able to vegetate at my computer over the course of an hour revoke that deal? That's got me pissed off.

I have no problem if it happens while in discussion, but to me if you agree/confirm the deal and send payment information, the deal is done. There shouldn't even be any other contact regarding selling the card to somebody else. I think I said the same thing when you asked opinions on the guy and your situation the other day.

But really, is it acceptable that if somebody isn't online for 60 minutes to cancel a confirmed deal?

Normally I wouldn't be as pissed, but I am more so because it matched with my other Senior Bowl patches. I guess I'll just have to leave him a negative explaining it and let it go  .
