Hope no one minds I am starting it early, but it is almost 11 am here.

Hope everyone is having a good start to their week.

Getting closer and closer to that first game of the season and the first Sunday of many nervous Sundays for fantasy players everywhere

Question of the day: The NFL has decided to throw every player into one giant draft pool and have every team start over. You are a team owner and you get the first pick. Who do you take?

I trade that first pick to the #2 guy for his first and second. Then it would depend who they take first...

If I had to pick and not trade that pick, Adrian Peterson. He's got years ahead of him, and a good running game is a good start to a solid team.

A close second is actually Ray Lewis. His experience, leadership, heart, and skill would make him a great core to building a defense.

I logged on to FarmTown (on MySpace) today, and all of my trees and flowers were gone. I am pretty freakin jacked right now. I pretty much wasted my time on all that.

I would probably pick a QB with my first pick. MOST of the time they're the team leader, and I think you need to start with a leader. That being said, I would probably go with Brady, followed closely by Manning and Ben.

I've tried a few apps, and they usually wear out in a couple of weeks at omst. FarmTown seemed like it had potential. I have a few friends who play, so it kept it entertaining since we'd all hang out and talk online on our farms and whatnot.

PHILADELPHIA -- Kevin Kolb is getting a start at quarterback in the Eagles' final preseason game.

On his weekly radio show Monday evening, Eagles coach Andy Reid said Kolb will start Thursday's game against the New York Jets at the Meadowlands and Michael Vick will play in the first half.

Vick will start the second half at quarterback, Reid said.

Quarterback Donovan McNabb, running back Brian Westbrook and many of Philadelphia's starters will not play.

In last week's victory over Jacksonville, Vick played six snaps. He went 4 for 4 for 19 yards and rushed once for a yard.

Vick participated in the first four Eagles drives, which netted only 3 points. Philadelphia went three-and-out on the others.

It also looks like Stafford is the ONLY QB healthy enough to play. He took every snap at practice, and seems to be the only one available for the preseason finale. They may have to go out and get an emergency QB. Could this be the return of Ken Dorsey? (Sorry, that was a hopefull Hurricanes fan talking)
