I just put a beef roast into my new crock pot with some vegetables. I've never used a slow cooker before, so hopefully everything turns out well. Seems like it would be kind of hard to mess up though.

They came to work today and switched out an old flight line fire extinguisher with a new one, so I got to shoot 600 gallons or so of foam around. I'd say that the day started out pretty good.

Crocks Pots FTW! Can't go wrong like you figured

Good to know. They had these premade slow cooker meals at the grocery store today, and they were half off. Figured I would be dumb not to pick up 2+ meals worth of food for $6. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the size. My crock pot is pretty small (3 quarts I think) and the food from the kit filled it pretty much to the brim. I guess I could always stir and get the stuff from the top to the bottom later if it doesn't want to cook thoroughly.

groat that Portis UD Black you got is the ****. I LOVE those cards. Pretty sweet how the patches are buried under windows like that.

That is a SICK card.

UD pisses me off though. I told them the way to prevent patch fakers is to enclose the patch/jersey under a thin clear plastic layer. They told me that "we want to keep collectors as close to the game as possible". I'm sorry, but how does a tiny swatch of jersey get me closer to the game??? If I want to get close to the game, I'll buy tickets, not a jersey card. :benson:

 No joke. Statements like that make me wonder sometimes.. Do some of these collectors "feel up" these little swatches or something? Do they taste them?

BAD visuals, BAD visuals!!!

I really do think that they want collectors to be able to touch the swatch. I haven't touched a swatch since probably my 1st or 2nd patch card I owned. Once you touched one, the rest are pretty much the same!!!

First jersey I have ever owned was a UD Reggie Wayne from 2001, I pulled it from a blaster, I touched it. Not sure I've touched another since though. I gave my neighbor a Marshawn Lynch jersey card because he is a Bills fan. Hes not into collecting and thought it was so cool, he rubbed the jersey for like 5 minutes

Oh ok, my bad. Maybe it was just me that never really thought to ****** my patches. From here on out I'm going to:

1) scratch and sniff
2) taste test
3) sleep with it

Maybe not in that order. I might mix it up from time to time..

There is a possibility that wasn't the jersey he was rubbing......

 When I first wrote that, I put... "thought it was so cool, he rubbed it for like five minutes"

Then I realized what I wrote and changed it

Had Chinese buffet for lunch - I eat crappy one day a week, and cashed it in early this week. Funny how that place always makes me feel like a fat sack of crap when I'm done eating there.
