I'm calling a 2 run bomb by Garrett Jones in the 1st.

One of the Pirates minor league teams roughed him up, I can't remember what team it was though, maybe the Curve?

Wouldn't surprise me. The Curve are actually a pretty good team. I believe they're still #1 record-wise .

The Curve are giving away commemorative Strasburg posters at their game tonight, which I found just a little odd since he's a product of the visiting team. They're playing the Harrisburg Senators. Kind of ironic that Stras' minor team plays the minor team of the team he's debuing against on the same night.

Definitely. I only ever watch maybe 2 innings of a game or have it on as "background noise" when doing something on my computer. When it comes White Sox playoff time, I will watch full games. Now watching it live is a different story...love live in-person baseball.

Definitely. I only ever watch maybe 2 innings of a game or have it on as "background noise" when doing something on my computer. When it comes White Sox playoff time, I will watch full games. Now watching it live is a different story...love live in-person baseball.

I'm pretty sure I showed these two off when I got them, but why not again? Picked these up for dirt cheap at the local flea market. I was a little giddy when I found a minor league card of Bell, and that Bay was just too cool to pass up. Love the Japanese anime effect to the art.

I guess I could have put this in the same post, but maybe this will help it get to three pages by 8 am - won a Dallas Clark Contenders rookie auto last night. There's a BGS graded one that keeps getting relisted by the seller on the Bay, which made me think something was fishy. So I won one graded by SGC (or something) for a lot less than I would have had to pay for the other. And yes, it's getting cracked right out of that slab.
