He was a monster at Pitt. 6 ncaa championships or something like that i think.

honestly i cant believe i won i was in aw. Once the final whistle blew win i pinned the dude who was a state champ i dont think i jumped so high im my life. I may have been a little unsportman like but i felt like i won a gold medal at the Olympics i was pumped i still am.

Thanks man. I really haven't doubted myself until today's meet. I mean the odds were completely stacked against me. I guess what really gave me the confidence boost was the rankings saying i would only win 2 matches. and lose 21. Right now im 15-3

College wrestling fans would too. Even WWE fans might. He beat Kurt Angle for the NCAA title, and he's a member of the all time NCAA wrestling team. Not to mention what Dalton said, he won 6 NCAA titles, and is the only wrestler to ever do so.

He did all of his wrestling for UPJ (University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown), which is like 5 minutes from my front door.

It's pretty cool how he never played college football, but made the Steelers and even made it to the Pro Bowl.

Yea i know quite abit about college wrestling.

He won 3 ncaa titles in DIII i belive an then 3 at DI He is on the NCAA 75th Anniversary Team in 2005 With Kurt Angle Cael Sanderson and Ed Banach(Iowa wrestler )
And a few other people i cant think off the top of my head but i Haselrig is the only not to win a gold medel out of all of em

I've been trying to collect him, but never find anybody with cards of his to trade. There aren't many, and nothing rare, so I could easily collect them all if I found people who traded cheap cards. He fits into my "Hometown Heritage" collection, as he was born and went to college in the Greater Johnstown area (Pennsylvania).
