Here comes the ebay tards.

I get this message after a guy bid with a few minutes to go:

CAN YOU PLEASE CANCEL MY BID, I ENTERED THE WRONG AMOUNT,SORRY.

- 8460jim

He ends up winning and it was only $1 then the previous bid.

i responded with

I cannot cancel a bid once the auction has ended. I do not see where it would've made much of a difference whether the bid was too high as it ended $1 over the previous bid. thanks.

- ocho_zero

He then comes up with another story

i am sorry for the confusion, my son made a bid when he was told not to, can you please cancel the transaction and i will agree to it also so you receive your fees back. again, i am very sorry for the confusion

- 8460jim

Should I stick it to him or let it go?

At least your guy only won one card.
Mine wants to cancel the transaction on the 28 dollar card but wants to pay for the 99 cent card ::facepalm::

Life just threw a slider. My wife was offered her "dream job" back where we grew up. It would put us in the same town as our families. With their recent health issues that is a big deal. The only thing standing in her way is my career here. Not an easy time. Her family has offered to take us in while I sort things out if we choose to go down that road.

Sounds like a pretty good deal for your wife. And you in the family regards. Hope you can figure out what to do!

Thanks buddy. She called yesterday in tears after meeting with the search team. She said they told her that she was great at what she does and was their choice. There are some misguided souls that have wanted to believe that her career here was started due to my connections and "string pulling". For her it was the ultimate validation. I recognize that the only thing standing in the way is my pride. She wants to be the provider, enjoy the family and live with her folks while I figure out what to do. Financially we are stable enough to make it happen. I am just not sure what I think about the idea of living with her folks without a job.

I am the Director of Career Services at the college I work at - despite the ****** job economy right now, people who have good attitudes, are sharp, well-spoken, and likeable are still getting jobs. You're all of those things.

Oh now I understand the post yesterday. Eff him. I'll buy the Robertson for $2. Double your money. Either that guy has to buy both or get neither.

Thanks Eric. I am confident that I will find something. There are a lot of solid jobs available to people willing to work in the area. Just going to have to get over the whole concept of living with the in laws.

RITM, GL whatever you decide!

Don't listen to me though about in-laws. When I let mine move in "for a coupla months" I ended up being the one out on my a$$. :(

One more EX-Mrs. rant, I promise. Best one yet. She showed up at our hearing today with a Purple "DV" bracelet on. Bear in Mind, she never wore any rubber bracelet, even when my friend had one made for his sick kid. Just Wow...

At least one cool thing happenned. The lady at BJ's hooked me up at regular price even tho' I'm not a member anymore. Kinda sad that that is the best part of my Day... :(

Actually at my Buddy's LCS I finally saw a guy pull two nice autos out of about 10 Baseball packs. (Profar (sp?) and Freeman). The store does gets some nice pulls, but the packs are just so high. :?

Afternoon, its far to hot for my liking. Supposed to get even hotter

Welcome to my world, been triple digits here in Austin over 30 days already.

We might have hit 70 today. Don't think so though.

I'm near Philly, in a big industrial area. Supposed to 94 today, then 96, 98 and maybe even 102. Good thing we have to keep the servers below 75, and us with them.

I think all told, We have 17 AC units here...

At just about 6 PM ET, it still sounds like the Players aren't sure if they're going to vote on it today or not. ::facepalm::

And Mrs. Robert Kraft passed away today which takes one of the seemingly more moderate Owners off their main negotiating team...

Cecil Shorts III.

That can't be a real name
He is my new fun pc guy, replacing Captain Munnerlynn. Seriously, I'm casually collecting him (only have two cards so far, but more to come when new releases hit).
