Let me interject into this little hate-fest with the ump, as I have been a professional umpire for some years...

He was NOT wrong. NOT AT ALL.

The ump is there to give his judgment. Now if his judgement call likely came while he had his head up his ass, well...

(Okay, he's wrong, but I wanted to share the values I was taught at my job with the little league
Lol)

that call is why baseball officiating is just as bad as the NBA's. no excuse to blow a call like that.

Wow, how the mighty have fallen. Threw in a $5 bid on this because I used to follow him. Didn't really think I'd win it... [ebay:2j7ejgap]320539064055[/ebay:2j7ejgap]

Well, that was 3 hours of my life I'll never get back. But at least I get to exchange my ticket for any game I want to go to, subject to availability.

****** Strasburg. Now everybody thinks their supers are worth 10x more then they actually are. The one super I would have wanted out of 2010 Bowman, will probably never get it now because I wouldn't pay more than about $150... [ebay:1t9qy5ct]170494651861[/ebay:1t9qy5ct]

I wonder how many people who know nothing about baseball, cards, or anything in between went out and bought 2010 Bowman thinking they could make thousands just because they saw an article on Yahoo or the news.

Eh, not going hardcore. He played for the Williamsport Crosscutters, a team near me. That's why I am collecting him a little bit. His red is up, might try to snag that. Missed a gold tonight.

Hate to do it, but I'm selling out the veteran and legends autos from my Heroes Silver Auto set and just concentrating on the rookies. Way too many high end cards for me to afford until I get my tattoo shop going and have more disposable income.

But the good news is, I only need 13 more rookie autos to finish that set.

Good move, IMO. Finishing the rest of the rookies should be doable in a reasonable amount of time. The low #'d vet cards probably would drag out the completion process (and the dollars) quite a bit.

Very true. Plus, selling off the vets and legends should get me the money to pick up the rest of the rookies.

if so, please answer me this.....

Will there be "Score" in 2010?

and also, did Score issue a base set from 1989 to 2009 without missing a year?

I think Score was released as "Score Inscriptions" last season. Does that ruin the whole continuity thing you were probably going for?
