Went to see Star Trek. It was absolutely fantabulous. Seemed like a lot of people I talked to weren't too interested; like it was for nerds and they had appearances to keep up. I haven't seen too much of the series or other movies except what I saw occasionally on TV as a kid. The movie had all the context you needed though, no prior ST study necessary.
