FCB Group BGS Sub October - 10 day grades!

Awesome on my 2 cards

Not too bad for a first time sub! I will for sure do this again in December.

One of my Cowart's were .5 away from being a BGS10!!! May try a Sub Bump in the future on it.

How do you check? I am curious to see what was high on my Mauer and low on my Smith.

You will need a beckett account on their grading page and go here to check your card grades. You can only check one card at a time. Click the Graded Card Lookup on the left hand side and use the number that Phillip has before each card you will see all of the sub grades and the final grade.

Your Jordan Smith got:
Centering 10
Corners 9.5
Edges 9
Surfaces 10

your Mauer got the following subs:

Centering 8.5
Corners 8.5
Edges 9
Surfaces 9.5

The way grading works is that you can only get an overall grade that is .5 higher than your lowest grade regardless of how high all of the other subs are. If you get 3x 10's and an 8.5, the highest you can get is a BGS 9. If you get 3x 10's and a 5.5, the highest you can get is a BGS 6.

I don't know if I have a Beckett or not. I know I signed up for something with them.

Not too bad on the Smith... the edges looked better, but I can't complain on a 9.5.

The Mauer went higher than I thought, but I am happy.

Yeah I think I saw flaws on just about all of them. But I have a few more so I'll try again anyways!

I've been e-mailing back and forth with Phil for a while about the 10-Day submissions. Apparently there was some mix-up with Fed-ex about holding the package for him and it was returned to Beckett. As of his e-mail on December 9th, it was headed back to him. I'm guessing it should be back to Phil by now and hopefully on its way back to us.

Maybe he'll post an update for us here. I've received all my 20-day subs back, but not the 10-day yet.

I'll keep you updated if I get one from him. I can't tell you how ready I am to have those cards back in my hands. 5 of mine are very hard to get and will cost $1,000 to replace. Makes me nervous having those floating out there in the world.

Guys, so sorry.

There was a huge snafu with me and Fedex, I asked them to hold it at a location, that pretty much didn't happen, when I went to the location to get the held packages, they weren't there. We went round and round and in the mean time they sent it back to Dallas.

Now its on the way back to me.

You'll be compensated for the long wait, again, so sorry.

Last update from Phil (2 days ago) said FedEx was holding the package awaiting his return from Christmas vacation. I guess they'll go out to us whenever he gets back. Hopefully in the next few days?
