While my overall rate (5 gems of 16 subs) was atrocious, this bad boy more than makes up for it:

7596093 2012 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs Blue Refractors Oscar Taveras 9.5 10

this one ain't so bad, either:

7596142 2012 Bowman Chrome Draft Draft Pick Autographs Blue Refractors Albert Almora 9.5 10

Honestly, I'm just bitter because I went through all my 9's, and 90% of them were .5 away. It's just another way for BGS to get more money from us.

I hear ya. It's bad when it's a "weak" 9 but when it's so close to a 9.5, it hurts way more!

I am hoping I can salvage part of my sub with the Pristine Fernandez. Here was mine for reference:

I got absolutely crushed on corner grades, I hope nothing happened to my cards en route....

Pretty sure we want back to that grader that hammered us a few months back. If you look back to December (I think), I even made a comment on how I got hammered on corner grades and we did pretty poorly as a group, much like we did this month

How do I know which of the Tyler Austins was mine? This is my 4th or 5th group sub and never had this issue before. I dont think the base autos were numbered.

You have a pic or scan of it saved somewhere? If so, you should post it here or PM it to Phil so he can identify yours when he gets them back in hand

This is what I'm afraid of. I've held off on grading for awhile due to not having time to put together my order but with the results of this submission I'm wondering if I should keep waiting and see how the March sub goes. The rough grading spot we went through before was a big waste of money.

This thread is making me really nervous, I participated in the March sub and am now worried.

Is there any bias with large subs like this? Does one grader grade our entire sub?

I have done two other group subs on blowout and we as a whole did well on both and I did well.

So my question is (some sarcasm here) did you guys all submit non worthy 9.s or are all of you seasoned graders and you really did just get killed by the grader or biased in some way?

I'm genuinely curious since I typically do better with group subs than by myself.

It's REALLY tough to say what the root cause of the less-than-stellar results was. My submission was a COMPLETE contradiction. I sent in 8 Bowman Chrome cards and every single one of them came back 9.5 or better. I sent in a handful of the Leaf Ultimate cards, which are really thick but looked REALLY good, and i only got one 9.5 out of 6 or 7 cards. But that could have been my fault since I'd never subbed thick cards before and probably don't have a definitive grasp on what constitutes a 9.5 like I feel like I do with Bowman Chromes
