What would be your nominations?
mine off hand

George C red ink 2009 ginter set
Not sure who owns it, but 9.5 Texas Rangers prospect Bowman Chrome rainbow
JP Hellboy 9.5 rainbow
Musual Fan Cuddyer 1/1 ginter wood run
Superfractor Rex Bros 2010 Bowman Chrome collection
Flightposite Tosoni run of all 5 red refractors in 9.5

what sets would you nominate that you have seen posted on FCB,... self praise equals no praise. So nominate others people sets and not trump your own stuff.

Are there two categories here or just one? I don't see how a rainbow consisting of 4-5 cards compares to George's Ginter set, so I'm assuming you're talking about two.

I would definitely nominate George Calfas, for the red set and others. He is only one card away from the 1997 Pinnacle Certified Gold set /30. He also has some other pretty amazing sets that he is working on. George is THE Master Set Builder, in my opinion.

I would nominate Greg (BigFan5) as well for all of the Dodgers 1/1s he has. All of the A&G wood cards and Supers are very impressive.

I know that there are others, but those two stick out in my head.

Oh, I would nominate the people building the 2009 Ultimate Collection Patch set as well; Pinbreaker, mlbsalltimegreats, and I know there are several others whose screen names I can't think of at the moment.

Dave (wideright) and his 2005 Ultimate Collection Signature Edition sets. Amazing stuff. One of the greatest looking autograph sets I have ever seen.

There are many incredible sets and collections on the board. I'll probably be posting several times as I think of more.

Yep, why I nominate it is it not your regular rainbow. Getting them all in 9.5 holders is amazing and very rare. Even multiples on some of them in 9.5 versions. You still buying them up? Only other one I've seen like that was Jaypers Hellboy collection, the 9.5 run factor moves them up into HOF class collection.

thanks man, it was expensive and a lot of hard work. grading and working with the graders in the beginning to understand what i was looking for when it came time to grade others for 9.5 ability.

Thanks for the nomination Joe! :D

Billy Packer's 05 Artifacts Patch/auto set is legendary. Never be another like it.

jpcz's immortal inscriptions set, and near complete Donruss Silver Sig set.

bodisurfa's and MaineMule's Ult Sig Dual sets, both near completion.

Schmidtfan's relic/auto set.

I'll add a few more as I think of them.

Rob (?) who has the Sweet Spot Auto collection is very impressive, especially with the special displays he built for them
