I had a hard time getting the 'Resident Evil' Font easy enough to read when it was small. I don't think everyone at the convention will know what 'FCB' means, so I am looking to make a font myself that has the entire 'freedomcardboard.com' on it.

I was thinking of modifying the Trajan font, a la Pan's Labyrinth. Thoughts?

I think the artistic quality of the design is less important than what it says.

I guess I'm not totally up on T-Shirt Design, but I imagine it's much like a billboard. You have time for one simple message that someone can read in 2-3 seconds. If it's not easy to read or not visually appealing, it's not going to be effective. Hence, my beleif that both are necessary.

I have no idea on a message (I find it's best when I don't think about those things), so the I guess I'm just trying to come up with a half of the design that I'm comfortable with.

I really like that one! Plus, every time I look at it I hear Rage Against The Machine in my head, which is always a good thing

...Like I mentioned before, it's hard to read the Resident Evil font period. Blue on Black is ALWAYS hard to read. But the rest of the design, I like. The mistral is surprisingly easy to read.

It's a simple gradient (well, blur, but you get my point), so it should be able to be printed acrylic too. me likey acrylic.

I know what you mean about the blue on black. Perhaps they should be put onto white shirts? And I can see where you are coming from with the resident evil font being hard to read...and distorting it like this doesn't make it any easier.

edit: I've got a different fist idea in my head. I've yet to hear any fist detractors in general, so I'm gonna go ahead and try to render it up tonight.

I really like it, but as marterburn said it might be tough to read the blue on black.

Maybe try to keep the same design but get a wierd angelic light effect coming off the blue font. If that is at all possible, I think it'll look awesome. The same kind of effect that is around the fist. Anyways, maybe try it. I think it'll look great

About as much as a naked fist.

The fist, as I have it depicted, is commonly associated with "freedom." See: google results. I didn't see any fists there with leather gloves on, which is what prompted me to ask about the glove. I didn't ask about it to be a dick or anything.
