From the original post, in the list of topics Mr. Gray wanted to debate:

Jeff's achievements professionally

I can't believe that, no matter what "side" anybody is on, nobody has picked up on this tidbit in 8 pages. What does Jeff's success at his profession have to do with ANYTHING that has been discussed? This is seriously repulsive coming from an owner/CEO/whatever he is of a card company. It makes it look as if during the debate Mr. Gray was going to bring up unrelated details about Jeff's job. If that is the case, he should be glad Jeff turned him down, as saying "Oh yeah, well YOU suck at YOUR job, nyah!" would make him look unbelievably childish. Even just putting that line in the original post sure makes it seem like that accusation is being made.

All of the accusations made by Leaf-bashers in this thread appear to be related directly to the running of a card company. Nobody is accusing Brian of cheating on his wife or kicking his dog or eating delicious human flesh, because that has nothing to do with anything! Just like talking about the career of anybody on this message board. I realize Jeff seems to relish the opportunity to bash Leaf and the business practices of Mr. Gray as often as humanly possible, but I'm pretty sure that's not his job.

Sorry for the long rant, but that one line just gave me an icky slimy feeling about the original poster.

So many shots firing both ways over the past four years. This has indeed gotten personal.

Jeff needs to accept this challenge. He's ran his mouth long enough, time to become a hobby legend or a total goat by agreeing to a debate.

You sure can bark when you have the time for edits and re-write's. Let's see those debate skills you seem so sure you have.

Whatever you think of Leaf, this can only be entertainment for us all.

And matchpenalty, get off Leaf's jock, it's unbecoming.

Wow.. I just finished reading both sites threads..

As for the Razor Development thread that was on FCB, I was able to post in there and I never received any gratuities from BG or FCB.

I buy Razor/Leaf products, because if I have any issues with products, I get them resolved by his staff unlike UD and Topps..

I am glad to see that FCB/BO have a forum whereas a card company can interact with it's customers.. (there have been other interactive threads but UD has since abandoned them)

Have a good night..

Can u show whe I was a paid advertiser?
To my knowledge I never paid FCB one red cent!!!

My banner was free as I was a big advocate of this site.
Please stop making up stuff.
BG

This is just me putting things together.... im sure im wrong.

FCB is new.... more and more peeps are joining.... servers needs upgraded... servers cost money..... Razor needs a message board to hype is new products... Razor offers to get said servers and they are installed in Dallas. In return we get peeps on FCB to hype his draft product ( in return for cases they can sell as form of payment for said hype )... soon Razorent makes an appearance with previews of said product and the crowd goes wild. Product comes out and we all live happily ever after.... the end.

Bob some of the lies and accusations I'm referring to are the ones you admitted to in this very thread. What you seem a bad habbit of doing is taking a fact or what you believe to be fact and making false assumptions based on those alleged facts. For example with the cards being backdoored, how could you possibly know the percentage and who did it yet you state the claim as fact. I just think it's even more ironic that it is an attorney doing this. You think an attorney would know better then to make damaging statements against someone without concrete proof. I mean even your claim of my being a member for only three months. I'm sure you probably did a search of my name and it says 3 months but had you simply asked me or did further research you would have seen I've been a member for longer but made a new account after the site was redone. You again misstated a fact based on assumption. Not sure what the length of time being a member has anything to do with the conversation anyway.

Thats how many leaf threads I have locked in the past 6 months.

Not true. There have been 3 Leaf threads locked in less than 1 month, make that 4 after you lock this one.

I can personally guarantee that Brian doesn't throw around the freebies. Brian caught a lot of heat for putting Bubba Starling in the famous black and white Bo Jackson pose. He said something like, "I'll guarantee that Bubba Starling has a better chance at being a HOFer than Bo Jackson ever does...".
I quickly reminded him that Bo was in the NCAA Football Hall of Fame and jokingly told him I would take a box of Leaf Ali for easily proving him wrong. A couple of members got a kick out it and Brian actually seemed to get a little ticked and defensive about it. So lump me into the no freebies category as well.

Said LOCKED thread:
http://www.freedomcardboard.com/forum/threads/79495-Bubba-Starling-s-LEAF-quot-Nike-Bo-quot-card/page3?highlight=bubba+starling+leaf

The best part is when someone comes to BG's rescue and he is solicited freebies for supporting Leaf.

I was also on the Razor Product Development forum. It was exactly as named, a place to make suggestions to make the product better.

I got nothing for it. Nor did i want anything.

Hope this can all end well, but that's probably naive of me. One POTENTIAL improvement BG could make in the interest of clarity and full disclousure would be to release a true future product schedule. This way folks would know, that you're releasing one product in 2012 and perhaps a spin on that product in 2013, and a variation in 2014. I personally dont see a problem with doing such things, (and in fact i would expect you to continue to release products).

I also understand that you may not know what your plan is 1 to 2 years out, but if you do, put it out there, give collectors the opportunity to understand your roadmap and make their collecting decisions with that in mind. This would go a long way to establishing your permananence in teh hobby. Folks know what to expect (for the most part) with Bowman products, but they dont know what to expect with Leaf, and they felt like they kept getting surprised with Razor. Perhaps that's because you, yourself didnt know which direction you'd go in next, being a new company. But if you had released a roadmap of Signature Series, then Chrome Version, then Refractor Chrome Version, whatever, i think it would have not only been eagerly anticipated, but applauded.

Anyway, good luck to those involved in the debate, try not to take it too seriously.

I didn't read all of the posts, and this may have been mentioned already. What if questions are submitted to BG or Chris and they do a Q&A? People could also call in. That way there would be no "dead time" waiting for questions or anything.

It's a fact that there was a Razor forum. Those who were in the inside know what it was used for. I did not personally have access, nor did I want access. I did not know what it was used for.

Furthermore, they were a paid advertiser, so they had their banner and a hyperlink and any other privileges that were unknown.

I am well aware of the fact that one could bad mouth Topps, UD, or Donruss back in 2008 with impunity, but Razor criticism was frowned upon.

Actually Loblawing (new word of the day) Razor was frowned upon. Threads got to be exactly like this where random users without any knowledge of their dealings would say whatever crap came out of their pie holes.

I'm just glad something positive could finally come from weeks, months, years? of constant made up drama...I haven't been this entertained about sports cards in some time.

Wrong again, skippy. I sent you several PM's as well, which too got ignored. And let's not forget the first time you didn't pay a while back, which was sent to your home email, way before you shut it down. No response, over the course of weeks.

As for your second statement, making back-handed accusations are still accusations.

Not going to entertain this matter further. Go talk to yourself, since we know you're incapable of shutting up.

He likes to lie about what he and the other party said and did. Happened to me and i had every pm and ebay message with the timestamp to prove he was lying and it didn't stop him from lawyering the truth.

Congratulations Brian. You called me out after I was done with you and because I don't want to play your silly little games, I'm called a chicken.

Whatever. I would prefer to avoid the fleas that would come after laying down with you.

Maybe give Advantix a try, or Frontline?

Loblaw (sorry thought he was OP, edited) seems like a real bottle of Massengil!!!

Props to the BG dude...Right or wrong. He comes to talk about it!!! Good for you.
